It's also an idea I have personally pulled off a few times in my blogging career<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I've been blogging since 2018, and in 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/blog-income-report-2022\/\">WebMonkey made $272,000<\/a>! Most of my income comes from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/mediavine-review\/\">Mediavine advertisements<\/a> and affiliate marketing. And together, I have plenty of days where I make $1k in a day between these two sources.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14559\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14559\" style=\"width: 697px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14559\" src=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/1000-dollars-day-affiliate-income.png\" alt=\"1000 Dollars A Day Affiliate Marketing\" width=\"697\" height=\"263\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14559\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Some of my blogging affiliate revenue for one day.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mediavine ads usually make me about $300 or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/make-400-a-day\/\">$400 a day<\/a>, and this is largely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/passive-income-streams\/\">passive income<\/a> at this point. And thanks to lucky days with affiliate marketing, I can sometimes clear $500 to $1,000 in a single day through affiliate income.<\/p>\n<p>And this is just how I make money blogging. You can also monetize by selling your own courses, sponsored posts, and by offering online coaching.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/is-blogging-worth-it\/\">downside of blogging<\/a> is that it takes time and work to build up your traffic. But if you learn search engine optimization (SEO) and stick with it, you never know what's possible. After all, blogging is my full-time job now and it's only been four years!<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Create_A_Side_Hustle_Stack\"><\/span><strong>2. Create A Side Hustle Stack<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/side-hustle-stack\/\">side hustle stack<\/a> is exactly what it sounds like: a combo of money-making ideas you use to boost your income.<\/p>\n<p>There are also plenty of ways to create your own stack. However, the income potential of an ecommerce business is essentially limitless as well.<\/p>\n<p>There are also plenty of ways you can start your own online business without spending a lot of money. For example, you can open an Etsy store for free, and it only costs $0.20 to list an item on your shop.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5481 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Etsy-goods.png\" alt=\"Etsy-goods\" width=\"600\" height=\"269\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Etsy is great for selling anything vintage, handmade, or digital, and there are plenty of Etsy sellers who sell full-time. You can also try out businesses like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/etsy-dropshipping\/\">Etsy print on demand selling<\/a> and work with manufacturing partners to create and sell your goods.<\/p>\n<p>This is what I did for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/college-side-hustles\/\">college side hustle<\/a> when I tried <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/make-money-with-memes\/\">making money with memes<\/a> by selling various merchandise, and if you come up with a trendy design, it could sell insanely fast.<\/p>\n<p>And Etsy is just one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/ecommerce-side-hustle\/\">ecommerce side hustle<\/a> you can try. Start A Service-Based Business<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>People are willing to pay high amounts of money for very specialized services or for services they don't want to do themselves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For example, certain landscaping projects can easily cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. Demolition projects like pool removals can also get insanely expensive. So, if you have that sort of skill set, that's just one example of how you can offer a service to people to make a lot of money fast.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/gig-economy\/\">Gig apps<\/a> like Lawn Love help connect landscaping pros with homeowners. You can also use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/apps-like-taskrabbit\/\">websites like TaskRabbit<\/a> to find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/odd-jobs-app\/\">odd jobs<\/a> in your city.<\/p>\n<p>But using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/is-taskrabbit-legit\/\">TaskRabbit<\/a> or various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/side-hustles-from-your-phone\/\">side hustle apps<\/a> are just two examples: Other popular and high-paying service based businesses include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handyman<\/li>\n<li>Cleaner<\/li>\n<li>Dog groomer and washer<\/li>\n<li>Event DJ<\/li>\n<li>Event photographer<\/li>\n<li>Makeup artist or hair stylist<\/li>\n<li>Mechanic<\/li>\n<li>Painter<\/li>\n<li>Plumbing<\/li>\n<li>Private chef or catering service<\/li>\n<li>Tech support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As for making $1,000 a day or more, landing large projects or outsourcing lots of smaller ones is a path to get there. Alternatively, you can focus on offering very niche, expensive services instead.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Retail_Arbitrage\"><\/span><strong>5. Retail Arbitrage<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Retail arbitrage\u00a0involves buying popular products from big box stores at a discount and then reselling them online for profit.<\/p>\n<p>Usually, retail arbitrage sellers source inventory from stores like Kohl's, Macy's, and Walmart where there are clearance aisles to snag discounted products. After gathering up some inventory, many retail arbitrage sellers list their products on Amazon FBA.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon FBA, or Fulfillment By Amazon, lets you ship products to Amazon warehouses so Amazon can handle shipping and fulfillment when you make a sale. This lets sellers focus on sourcing more inventory and managing their listings rather than worrying about shipping and customer service.<\/p>\n<p>As for what you sell specifically, there are plenty of options out there. But you can make $1,000 per day or more with this business model. In fact, I interviewed a couple that runs a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/retail-arbitrage\/\">million-dollar retail arbitrage business<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4280 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/amazon-retail-arbitrage.png\" alt=\"amazon-retail-arbitrage\" width=\"272\" height=\"530\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, they're making over $1k a day on Amazon FBA, and this is just one sales channel you can use! Nothing stops you from also selling on marketplaces like eBay or Mercari, or using more niche websites like Poshmark.<\/p>\n<p>I mean, you can even sell on the Facebook Marketplace if you want <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/how-to-make-quick-money-in-one-day\/\">quick money<\/a> and don't mind selling in person. And my post on things to sell for $1,000\u00a0has some ideas on things you can sell to make this type of cash.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Passive_Income_Rentals\"><\/span><strong>6. Passive Income Rentals<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you want to try a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/passive-side-hustles\/\">passive side hustle<\/a>, you can always try building a passive income rental empire.<\/p>\n<p>This idea of generating extra cash has become extremely popular thanks to platforms like Airbnb that let you rent out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/make-money-from-spare-room\/\">spare rooms<\/a> or entire homes for cash.<\/p>\n<p>And the idea here is pretty simple: buy homes or tiny properties, convert them into Airbnb rentals, and pay someone to manage the guest experience and property for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here's an example<\/strong>: I stayed at a tiny home up in Ontario cottage country recently.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14554 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Airbnb-tiny-home.jpg\" alt=\"Airbnb tiny home\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The place cost about $200 per night, and it was basically fully-booked for most of the months it was available. And this is a nice way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/make-money-on-autopilot\/\">earn money on autopilot<\/a> once you outsource property management.<\/p>\n<p>This is just one example of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/rent-items-for-money\/\">how to rent stuff out for money<\/a>, and people are also doing things like building rental car fleets with Turo.<\/p>\n<p>You can also explore even\u00a0<em>easier\u00a0<\/em>ideas, like investing in income-generating real estate with a platform like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/go\/Arrived\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Arrived<\/a><\/strong>. This crowdfunding platform lets you buy shares of individual rental properties, and you receive dividend distributions from rental income.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Use_Geo-Arbitrage\"><\/span><strong>7.
