And it's something I know is completely possible because WebMonkey makes $10,000 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/how-to-make-20k-a-month\/\">$20,000 a month<\/a> or more these days.<\/p>\n<p>I started blogging back in 2018. And in my first year, I only made $1,700 after\u00a0<em>hundreds\u00a0<\/em>of hours of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But fast forward to 2021, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/blog-income-report-2021\/\">WebMonkey earned $92,000<\/a>. This is because it takes years to build up your audience for most blogs.<\/p>\n<p>In my experience, it took over 4 years before I was earning $10,000 a month from blogging. But this business model is incredibly scalable, and it can easily cost under $100-$200 to get started.<\/p>\n<p>As long as you learn the basics of SEO, write consistently, and stick with it, there's no reason why you can't find success in a variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmonkey.com\/blog-niche-ideas\/\">blogging niches<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Make_Money_In_The_Gig_Economy\"><\/span><strong>2.
