(My Honest Review!)

One of the most popular recommendations for making money online is to use paid survey sites. And if you're looking for an easy way to earn some extra cash or gift cards without experience, this can be a great idea.

However, there are hundreds of different paid survey sites out there. And while many promise rewards, very few are actually worth your time.

One popular option when it comes to doing online surveys is Survey Club. But is Survey Club legit? And can you really make money with this platform?

I tested out the platform to find out, and I'm covering everything you need to know in our Survey Club review.

Looking for more legit ways to make money online? Checkout:

Survey Club is an American based survey company that has been in business since 2005. One of the original sites offering online members, they have a large user base and long history of survey research.

The site offers its own surveys to users, and also aggregates potential surveys from other survey sites.

To join Survey Club, you need to be at least age 16 or older and reside in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia. It's a fairly global survey platform since many companies are only available in one country.

Depending on their demographics, Survey Club users can receive anywhere from a few surveys a week to several surveys a day. However, Survey Club states that survey takers in the United States get more surveys than users in other countries.

You can cash out your earnings for free Amazon gift cards or PayPal money. Overall, it's a pretty standard survey site that says you can share your opinion to earn extra cash on the side.

Survey Club is user friendly and easy to get started. I found signing up was quite simple, and the entire process takes three steps:

I'm going to cover how each of these steps works in a bit more detail!

Signing up for Survey Club doesn't take very long. The questionnaire you complete mostly asks about your age, race, where you live, and your education.

You also answer some questions about your consumer preferences, like what kind of car you drive and what phone you own.

All-in-all, signing up and finishing your profile takes under five minutes.

You have to answer this questionnaire because this is how Survey Club matches you to more relevant surveys. This is the same process sites like Prolific and Grindabuck use to give out survey opportunities.

Once you finish the questionnaire, you can find available survey opportunities through your Survey Club dashboard.

How much Survey Club pays depends on the surveys it matches you to. Most surveys pay $1 to $3 for around 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Some users also report surveys paying less than $1.

And as you can see from my dashboard, all of the available surveys I can take say “special” for how much they pay. This is actually very frustrating since I have no way of knowing how much a survey pays before I spend my time on it.

This is a massive downside to Survey Club. And again, you can always sign up for these get-paid-to sites like Toluna and Branded Surveys on your own.

On the bright side, there are a few higher-paying opportunities on Survey Club, including focus groups. For example, one of the opportunities on my Survey Club dashboard is for a $115 focus group on food.

Just remember that Survey Club is a survey aggregator, not an independent research company. This means it simply matches people with surveys from other panels that you can complete to make money.

Also know that Survey Club shares your information with other survey sites, so you might see an increase in emails. While these emails mean more paid opportunities, they can also fill your inbox rather quickly.

To prevent this, I recommend using a secondary email address for surveys so that you don’t overwhelm your main email account.

You can cash out your earnings on Survey Club once you earn $25. Payment options include Amazon gift cards or free PayPal cash.

A $25 redemption minimum is very bad for the world of paid survey sites. For example, competitors like Survey Junkie and Branded Surveys both let you cash out at just $5. And some beermoney sites like Swagbucks have rewards starting at just $1.

Overall, the $25 minimum cash out requirement is my least favorite aspect about using Survey Club.

Survey Club is a legit website that has been in business for over 15 years. It also has millions of members and there's plenty of payment proof online. Plus, it has a 3.6 star rating out of 5 on TrustPilot. However, Survey Club has a very high minimum redemption requirement. And it doesn't pay very much, so don't expect to quit your day job.

Other common complaints about Survey Club include low payouts per survey, not receiving enough surveys to make payout, and points expiring before they can be redeemed.

So yes, Survey Club is a legitimate company. But I don't think it's a very good survey site or worth using at this time.

In my opinion, Survey Club is safe and isn't a scam. The company has plenty of positive reviews online and has been letting people make money online for more than a decade. And you don't have to share any payment details or information to sign up that you don't want to.

That said, be sure to use a level of caution when providing your information to a survey website, or anywhere online.

The amount of information you provide can depend on what you are comfortable with, but use common sense and never provide your bank account information, Social Security Identification number or passwords to anyone online. When taking payments, use a safe payment method such as PayPal or gift cards.

I signed up and tried out Survey Club, and because of the $25 cash out requirement and lack of transparency, I wasn't a huge fan.

But as mentioned, it has a 3.6 star rating on Trustpilot, so some people like Survey Club. That's why it's useful to check out other reviews to get a few more opinions.
