How To Write Reviews For Amazon And Get Paid

1. Amazon Vine

In my opinion, the best way to write Amazon reviews and get paid is to try and join Amazon Vine.

This is Amazon's own special invite-only program that invites specific reviewers to become product review voices as part of Vine. These members are given the opportunity to order items at no-cost and to share their experiences and feedback with Amazon customers.

Amazon Vine

The idea behind Vine is to help Amazon customers make better decisions. And since you get products for free, it's basically a way to review products for money since you can use or resell whatever you get.

Amazon Vine also sends products from all types of categories, including some high-value ones, so there's plenty of variety.

The only downside is that Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program. To increase the odds of an invitation, regularly write insightful and helpful Amazon reviews. According to Amazon, these help you get noticed and considered for the program.

My post on how to become an Amazon Vine reviewer shares more information on how this program works if you're curious.

2. Become An Amazon Influencer

If you want to create or write reviews for Amazon and get paid, joining the new Amazon Influencer program could be the perfect fit.

This new program lets you create content about Amazon products to promote them on your own storefront. You then earn commissions if your followers purchase the products you recommend.

I like this program because you can create a variety of content, including photos, videos, and even livestreams. So, it's much more creative than just writing Amazon reviews for money.

This video from YouTuber and online marketer Chad Bartlett shares how to make money with the Amazon Influencer program and how to scale your revenue.

Just note that you need a YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok account to apply. And Amazon considers factors like your followers and engagement metrics when deciding to approve you for its influencer program.

In any case, if you want to get paid to review Amazon products, this is one of the best ways to begin making money online.

3. Start An Amazon Affiliate Blog

Another creative way to get paid for Amazon reviews is to start an Amazon affiliate blog.

The Amazon affiliate program pays you a small commission when readers click on your Amazon links and end up making purchases. It's a very popular revenue stream for product-based blogs since so many readers already shop on Amazon.

Niche Amazon Affiliate Earnings
Some Amazon Affiliate revenue from one of Tom's niche blogs.

I’ve been blogging for quite some time now and include Amazon affiliate links in almost every post on my website. When a reader clicks on these links and places and orders, I get paid.

For example, I’ve included affiliate links in articles that I have reviewed. I also add Amazon affiliate links that are relevant to the blog post such as the supplies for a craft or the ingredients for a recipe.

You can also share Amazon products and deals on your blog’s social media handles including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter. Other retailers and services also offer affiliate programs and this can be an excellent way to start earning passive income from your work online.

Just note that you should always disclose you're an affiliate when using Amazon affiliate links or any type of affiliate marketing. And if you receive a product for free in exchange for a review, you have to disclose it as well.

4. Start A YouTube Channel

If you're feeling creative, another idea to earn money writing Amazon reviews is to start a product review YouTube channel.

People do this all the time and start YouTube review channels about technology, toys, hobbies, tools, instruments, and pretty much any product.

And some people also make Amazon-focused content. Just take a look at how many Amazon unboxing videos there are, with millions of views!

Amazon unboxing videos

YouTube can also turn into an awesome income stream if you're consistent. For example, Tom started his channel in 2020, and it now has over 18,000 subscribers and earns $50 a day or so in advertisement revenue.

You need to get 1,000 YouTube subscribers to enable Adsense ads. But you can add in Amazon affiliate links from day one and begin earning autopilot income.

This also works for almost any niche. And since Amazon is so vast, you can probably find products to review that interest you. Just remember to disclose that you're an affiliate in the description box!

5. Join AMZDiscover

While writing paid reviews on Amazon for products is permitted by its terms, there are services that help you get connected for legitimate review opportunities, including AMZDiscover.

AMZDiscover

With AMZDiscover, you can apply to become a product tester for popular Amazon products. Once you're in its directory, Amazon sellers can contact you with offers for free products in exchange for reviews.

In other words, this is basically another version of Amazon Vine, except it's run independently. But if you want to get paid for your advice and Amazon reviews, this is definitely another viable option you can try out.

6. Join Amazon Reviewer Job Sites

Like AMZDisocver, another way to make money writing Amazon reviews is to join more reviewer databases that connect you with sellers who need reviews for their products.

From these websites, you usually receive discounted or even free Amazon products in exchange for your review. And some of these platforms also cover other platforms, not just Amazon.

Several popular Amazon reviewer sites you can check out include:

  • Cashbackbase – Offers discounts and trials on various products.
  • Snagshout – Snag deep discounts and deals for sharing your opinions.
  • VIP Power Club– Receive special Amazon coupons and discounts.
Cashbackbase free Amazon products

While these websites don't always require you to leave a review on Amazon, they encourage it and may even reward you to do so. The offers available do change very frequently, so it’s recommended to check their sites often to see what new opportunities may be available.

7. Become A Freelance Writer

If you're still wondering how to get paid for Amazon reviews, you can always try becoming a freelance writer who specializes in product reviews.

Many sites pay freelance writers to create product review articles, which can include Amazon products. Alternatively, you might find gigs writing listicles that naturally include quite a few Amazon products in them.

For example, Tom wrote numerous gift guides for some of his clients, so his work often mentioned some Amazon products he uses and enjoys. And personally, I frequently do freelance writing and write reviews and articles for other sites as an online job to earn extra money.

Specializing in just paid Amazon reviews is probably difficult. But again, you can start making money from home as a freelance writer and slowly specialize in product reviews if that's what interests you.

Pro Tip: You can find flexible and high-paying gigs by using online job boards like FlexJobs!

8. Write Amazon Book Reviews

Authors who sell books on Amazon are often willing to pay book reviewers with free books or even cash in exchange for their reviews. If you're a bookworm, this is a fun side hustle that also helps you discover new authors.

Websites like Online Book Club and other paid book review sites sometimes give away books from Amazon authors to reviewers. You can also find these gigs by searching on Google or by posting your services on marketplaces like Upwork.

9. Use Survey Sites

Some survey sites can pay you for writing product reviews or testing out different products. So, you can earn money for answering questions in your spare time without needing any skills or experience.

Some of my favorite cash survey sites include:

Branded Surveys website

Just keep in mind that paid Amazon reviews or questions about products aren't always available. But you can still answer surveys about a range of topics to earn free gift cards and cash in your spare time.

Branded Surveys is my personal favorite, but you can stack several of these sites to maximize earnings.

10. Write Amazon Reviews Regularly

One final tip for getting paid to write Amazon reviews is to simply write reviews regularly.

If you write Amazon reviews all the time, there's a higher chance you get invited to programs like Amazon Vine. And, companies might reach out independently to give you free Amazon products for reviews. Plus, this practice helps out other shoppers and makes Amazon a better marketplace overall.

Are There Any Amazon Reviewer Jobs?

There aren't many full-time Amazon reviewer jobs that pay you for reviewing Amazon Products. However, you can get regular payments and free products by using the tips and websites listed above. Additionally, starting your own Amazon review blog or YouTube channel has the potential to turn into a full-time business.

Can You Write Amazon Reviews For Free Products?

It's against Amazon's terms of service for sellers to compensate reviewers with cash or free products for Amazon reviews. However, this still happens all the time, and it's very difficult for Amazon to detect which reviews are authentic and which ones are paid.

That said, programs like Amazon Vine are completely legit. And if you receive free products for your Amazon review but leave honest feedback and aren't just positive because you got free stuff, that's also authentic.

Can You Write Amazon Reviews On Fiverr & Facebook?

You can't make money writing Amazon reviews on marketplaces like Fiverr or even the Facebook Marketplace. In fact, Amazon sued over 1,000 individual Fiverr sellers since the platform used to have thousands of sellers offering paid Amazon review services.

amazon review groups
Some paid Amazon review groups that used to be on Facebook.

Amazon takes its review integrity pretty seriously judging by the lawsuit. So, stick to legit ways to get paid for Amazon reviews or try starting your own online business like a blog or YouTube channel.

What's The Best Way To Get Started?

In my experience, starting an Amazon affiliate blog or creating affiliate content on YouTube is the best way to review Amazon products for money. This is because you can create actual review content about the products, test them for your audience, and then earn commissions if they end up shopping through your links.

Other paid Amazon review gigs can work, but they generally don't pay very much. In contrast, affiliate marketing on social media or your own blog can be much more lucrative.

Final Thoughts

In a nutshell, yes, you can get paid for Amazon reviews. You just have to be careful about how you do it. Amazon has strict terms of service regarding compensated reviews and how reviews are handled.

With that being said, there are ways to legitimately make money writing Amazon reviews such as featuring products on your own blog or YouTube channel. Plus, you can earn affiliate commission on these reviews, and you may have companies willing to sponsor you when you feature their products as well.

Just remember to always disclose that you're an affiliate and if you're getting free stuff in exchange for your reviews. This is an FTC requirement, and it's also important for your own integrity.

Ultimately, there are so many ways to make money on Amazon, ranging from its work from home jobs to working in its warehouses. So, pick one of these ideas and dive in!

Amazon is one of the largest companies in the entire world, and it's the go-to shopping option for millions of people.

But, did you know it's also possible to make money with this ecommerce giant as an Amazon product tester?

Becoming an Amazon product tester is a popular and rewarding gig if you know how to get started. And this post is sharing how to get an Amazon product tester job and what you need to know before you get started.

What Is An Amazon Product Tester?

An Amazon product tester is someone who tests various products that are sold on Amazon. They then write reviews on Amazon itself or on other websites and social media. Testers also provide feedback to the seller to help them potentially improve the product.

This is one of the most popular ways to get free products to review and even write reviews for money. However, it's a competitive field, and it can take a while before you land your first gig.

Also note that most gigs simply pay you with free products in exchange for your tests and feedback. Some gigs pay cash or with free gift cards, but these are less common.

How To Find Amazon Product Tester Jobs

Here are some of the best places to look if you want to get paid for Amazon reviews as a product tester.

1. Amazon Vine

One of the top ways to become an Amazon product tester is through an invitation only program called Amazon Vine. This program invites select Amazon reviewers to participate in this exclusive product testing group known as Amazon Voice.

While the full criteria to get chosen for this Amazon review program aren't fully known, Amazon typically invites individuals who are very active reviewers. Reviews also need to be thoughtful and comprehensive.

Amazon Vine Voice leaving review
An example of a Vine Voice review I saw.

Generally, Amazon Vine members get sent products that are new releases or products that aren't even on the market yet. So, this is an excellent way to find consistent product review gigs for exciting products no one has seen yet.

This program is also run by Amazon; it's actually against Amazon’s terms of service for sellers to send you product directly for review.

Just note that Amazon Vine testers don't get paid with cash. Instead, they keep the products they review, so you can always sell them online if you want quick money or keep them for your own use.

2. Snagshout

One of several discount style websites, Snagshout is another way you can find Amazon product tester gigs if you do a bit of searching.

The website provides coupons and rebates for thousands of products, including many that are sold on Amazon. Some rebates are for 100% as well, meaning you can purchase an Amazon product and get a complete refund from the seller.

SnagShout free products
An example of a free SnagShout product I found.

Sellers often do this to help encourage people to try new products going to market, and to get reviews. Some products require you to pay for shipping, and not every product has a 100% discount. But even so, Snagshout can help you save more money while finding Amazon tester jobs.

Just make sure you understand the terms before you order and agree to review the products you try.

3. Rebaid

Like Snagshout, Rebaid is another reviewer discount website where you can get free or heavily discounted items to review. The site also has many products from Amazon sellers, so it's easy to find popular products to test and review.

rebaid

Many of these items are only available in a limited quantity and the products that are available change frequently, so be sure to check back with them often.

Like Snagshout, also read terms and conditions carefully or any instructions from sellers.

4. Become An Influencer

One of the most consistent ways to get Amazon product tester gigs is to become an influencer yourself.

There are more ways to be an influencer than ever before. This unique way to make money online can include starting a blog, starting a YouTube channel, or simply being active on social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook.

As you grow a following as an influencer, it's not uncommon for brands in your niche to send you free products to review. This often includes Amazon sellers, so you can begin striking brand deals for cash and free merchandise.

You can also apply to become an Amazon affiliate to earn even more by recommending products on Amazon to other people. This is one way Tom makes money with a niche blog, and it's an excellent source of passive income once you establish a following.

Niche Amazon Affiliate Earnings
Income from one of Tom's niche blogs.

As a long time blogger myself, I include my Amazon affiliate links in my social media and my blog posts regularly, especially for products I love and use regularly. This generates regular sales and passive income from my content and the earnings can really add up.

5. Vipon

A popular Amazon deal site, Vipon offers its users deep discounts on a variety of products and even offers free products in exchange for reviews.

This site offers up to 20 review products at a time, making it a popular option for those who want to be an Amazon product tester.

For reviewers who are considering this website, be sure to look at the details. Not all products are free and many have a fee to purchase (although it is a heavily reduced price). Make sure the product is worth the money and time to review before you purchase.

6. Home Product Testing

One last resource to make money as an Amazon product tester is Home Product Testing.

Like some of the other companies on this list, Home Product Testing offers product testers a chance to get free or discounted items for review. This includes many products from Amazon merchants, so keep an eye out for free products or ones at massive discounts.

Just note that Home Product Testing is only available for U.S. residents at this time.

Which Option Is Best?

There are plenty of ways to find Amazon product tester jobs. However, the most consistent and profitable path is to become an influencer or blogger.

This is because influencers tend to get larger brand deals that can also include cash payments for their product tests and reviews. Plus, if you build up an audience, you can land these opportunities more regularly. And influencers can also earn by selling their own products, landing brand deals, and with affiliate marketing or display advertising.

This being said, becoming a successful blogger or influencer doesn't happen overnight. It can take time to build a readership and followers, which can limit your ability to make money while your following grows.

Many people who start a new blog or social media channel still maintain a day job for steady income until they are making full-time income from this side hustle.

Do Amazon Product Testers Get Paid?

Most Amazon product tester jobs only pay you with free products and don't pay cash. In other words, you get to keep the products you test as a form of payment. Most sellers also cover shipping so you're never out of pocket.

Some companies are willing to pay testers with cash or free gift cards, but this isn't common. This is why becoming an influencer is likely the most lucrative path forward.

My Advice For Getting Started

It can be tempting to say “yes” to every free product testing gig that comes your way. However, if you want to be an Amazon product tester, there are a few things to keep in mind that I've learned over the years:

  1. Consider Usefulness: Is the product something you actually need? I get dozens of inquiries every week to review baby products including strollers, high chairs and more. My kid is over 6 feet tall now, so these items are no longer applicable for me. While I could still sell these products on sites like Poshmark or eBay, you still need to decide if it's worth the effort.
  2. Consider Time Investment: Is the product worth your time? I frequently get review opportunities for inexpensive items such as bags of food. While the items would be free of charge, I also consider the time to do the review requested. In some cases, it’s not worth it to do the review for an item that would just cost me a couple dollars to buy.
  3. Disclose Your Deals: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires reviewers to disclose when they receive items free of charge in exchange for review. It’s important to include this information and failure to do so can result in fines.
  4. Consider Financial Impacts: Depending on where you live, the “free” items you receive to review may be subject to tax depending on the volume of merchandise that you receive.
  5. Watch Out For Scams: While most Amazon product testing offers are legit, there are still scams. Never disclose passwords, banking information, or other personal info. Scammers might also ask you to purchase the product ahead of time at your own expense and then offer to reimburse you after you post your review. If they fail to follow through, you can lose the money that you spent, as well as time for the review.

Final Thoughts

So can you get paid to be an Amazon product tester? Absolutely. In fact, there are numerous testing opportunities via Amazon and through marketplace brands directly.

I’ve been a blogger and influencer for over 10 years. I have personally tested and reviewed more products than I can count, including items from Amazon. From clothes to toys, electronics to food, it's been amazing to get free stuff in exchange for my reviews.

Overall, this is a fun side hustle that can help you save more money while trying out new products and gadgets. Just remember to review each opportunity and to make an informed decision if it is right for you.

When most people think about creating passive income, they probably think of things like investing in stocks, or putting their money in a savings account. But what if you could own a business that creates passive income for you?

Well, with the right model and strategy, it's possible. In fact, there are numerous businesses that run themselves, letting you earn income while your operations run completely on autopilot.

Best 15 Businesses That Run Themselves

Below, you'll find 15 different business ideas that can generate passive income either completely on their own or with just a bit of maintenance work and outsourcing.

1. Print On Demand Business

Print on demand, or POD, involves uploading your designs to products that you sell with a manufacturing partner. Here's how it works in a nutshell:

  1. You work with a POD company like Printify or Printful and add your designs to their products
  2. You list your products for sale on marketplaces like Etsy or a Shopify store
  3. When you make a sale, the POD partner creates and ships the product to your customer

Sell-on-Printify

Companies like Printify have over 100 products you can add your designs to, including shirts, stickers, hats, mugs, pillows, and dozens of other popular items. And the best part is you never have to deal with manufacturing or shipping with a POD business.

Many people sell print on demand products on Etsy since its marketplace is so popular and you don't need to run your own store. Once your products rank on the marketplace, you can get steady orders without having to manage the business.

2. Vending Machines

According to Allied Vending, the average vending machine makes between $300 to $600 per month. And this is another prime example of a business that runs itself since all you need are a few machines and an employee to keep the machines stocked.

The most difficult part of this low-maintenance business is finding the right locations for your machines and renting the space from whoever owns it. But in busy areas like malls, office spaces, or strip malls, a vending machine can produce steady cash flow.

3. Blog

If you have a knack for writing and content creation, starting a blog is another highly passive business you can consider.

Typically, blogs generate income by funneling traffic to affiliate offers or with display ads from companies like Google AdSense or Mediavine. Blogs can also earn through sponsorships with brands and by selling physical and digital products.

WebMonkey currently makes $20,000 a month or more in largely passive income. This is possible by outsourcing much of the writing and content creation work. Plus, content that was written years ago still generates income today as it receives traffic.

20k a month blogging
Some Mediavine income for the last 30 days.

The main downside of this business idea is that it takes time to grow a blog and audience. But many people run networks of niche sites, outsourcing much of the day-to-day work as they grow monthly revenue.

4. Laundromat

According to SharpSheets, the average U.S. laundromat has an annual turnover of $142,000. And once a laundromat is up and running, it's a prime example of a business that runs itself.

Hiring staff and keeping up with repairs and maintenance are the two main ongoing costs for this business. But you don't need to be present for either task if you're willing to hire a decent manager.

The main downside of this side hustle is the upfront costs. Between machines, energy usage, and rent, you're probably looking at $15,000 to $22,000 a month to run the business according to data from SharpSheets.

5. YouTube Channel

Like starting a blog, a YouTube channel is another excellent example of a self-running business.

Once you monetize your YouTube channel, you begin earning money on autopilot from Adsense ads on videos. This means videos you create years ago can still generate revenue if they rank and receive views.

WebMonkey's YouTube channel currently makes $50 per day in Adsense revenue. All of the video editing and thumbnails are outsourced, and ChatGPT helps with a lot of scripts. This is how you can create a cash cow YouTube channel and gradually turn the business into a passive business.

YouTube 50 dollars a day

The rise of AI video editing tools is only making this easier. And while you need 1,000 subscribers to begin making money on YouTube, this is achievable in a few months if you consistently create content.

6. Self-Storage Company

Did you know that the average self-storage unit costs about $92 per month?

This might not sound too expensive. But when you consider that self-storage facilities can serve hundreds or thousands of clients, it's clear why this business can be quite lucrative. And when it comes to businesses that run themselves, self-storage facilities are a prime example.

Land and infrastructure costs are the main expenses to consider. Afterwards, there's insurance and employee costs, as well as occasional maintenance. But all of this is outsourceable if you want to keep things passive.

You can also start out small and without buying land. For example, gig apps like Neighbor let you rent out your unused storage space, like a basement or garage, to people in your city to earn monthly income.

7. Rental Properties

We all know that rental properties are a popular way to diversify your income. But this doesn't mean you have to necessarily become a landlord.

For example, many people own rental properties but work with property management companies that handle tenants, collecting rent, and maintenance. This turns a rental unit into a passive business, albeit in exchange for the share of the profits.

Some people do this with Airbnb as well and outsource rental property management and guest check-ins. With the right system in place, rental units can be completely outsourced so you don't have to have active involvement.

Pro Tip:?If you don't have enough capital for a rental unit, you can always consider investing via real estate crowdfunding with companies like Arrived.

Arrived real estate investing

Arrived lets you buy shares of rentals and vacations homes that are already generating income. You get paid quarterly dividends from this income and can also earn from shares appreciating.

You only need $100 to get started as well, so Arrived is an incredibly beginner-friendly way to start investing for income.

8. Parking Spaces

Do you have an empty parking spot or driveway? If the answer is yes, this is an incredibly easy side business that can run itself.

In major cities, a monthly parking spot can easily fetch $100 to $200 or even more depending on the area. You can use apps like SpotHero to list your spot for sale and then find renters. Posting an ad on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist can also work.

9. Party Rentals

Have you ever seen a bouncy castle, face-painting station, or some other kind of equipment at an event? Well, these are all examples of businesses that run themselves.

The event space is a prime candidate for starting these types of autopilot businesses. Take bouncy castles for example: it costs a few thousand dollars to purchase one, but you can easily rent it out for birthdays and events for several hundred dollars or more depending on the crowd.

Add a few employees to these businesses and all of a sudden, you have a fully-automated business on your hands.

10. Vehicle Rentals

The sharing economy has seen a rise in peer-to-peer lending and more informal marketplaces. This includes vehicles, and you can now earn money by renting out your car, or even a fleet of vehicles, to people in your city.

Companies like Turo and HyreCar are some of the main players in this space. Each company lets vehicle owners list their vehicles for rent and also provide insurance and liability coverage to help protect drivers and vehicle owners.

11. Dropshipping

When it comes to online businesses that run themselves, dropshipping is one of the most popular business models out there.

With dropshipping, you sell products directly to consumers from the manufacturer. This means you never have to handle inventory or worry about shipping yourself, much like with print on demand.

People often launch dropshipping businesses on?Shopify?since it's designed for ecommerce. As for where you source products from, tools like?Spocket?help you find high-quality products from the United States and Europe that have much faster shipping times than selling goods from AliExpress.

Spocket

As for getting traffic to your store, dropshippers commonly use Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads. If you find a winning product that converts well, scaling can occur quite rapidly, which is one of the main advantages of this ecommerce side hustle.

12. Sell Digital Products

Selling digital products isn't anything new. But if you want a high-margin and easy business to automate, it's worth considering.

People sell all kinds of digital products these days, with some of the most common types including:

  • Artwork
  • Craft supplies and templates
  • Budgeting sheets
  • Digital stickers
  • eBooks
  • Meal plans
  • Planners

Marketplaces like Etsy are an excellent place to test out your first digital products. You can also funnel people from a blog or YouTube channel if you create content where plugging digital products makes sense.

There's a lot of upfront work involved for this business. But you can get 100% margins if you begin getting organic sales. And once you set up your business on a marketplace like Etsy, it's easy to outsource shop management to keep things passive.

Extra Reading – How To Make Passive Income On Etsy.

13. Billboards

According to Outdoor Billboard University, billboards can have a return on investment of about 20% if you're in the right market. And some billboard leases and permits only require $5,000 to $15,000 to begin, so you don't need hundreds of thousands of dollars in capital to get started.

This is a more niche industry where location and selling ability matters more than anything. But it's an interesting business model that can potentially pay you for doing nothing once you lease a billboard and rent it out to brands that want to advertise.

14. Amazon FBA

Amazon FBA, like dropshipping, involves selling products to Amazon customers but having Amazon handle all your orders and fulfillment. Here's how the business model works:

  1. You purchase inventory as an Amazon FBA seller and then ship that inventory to Amazon warehouses
  2. When you make a sale, Amazon fulfills the order for you and charges a fee
  3. You get paid from the Amazon customer and don't have to deal with shipping

Amazon-FBA-program

Amazon FBA is how many people make money with retail arbitrage. And the beauty of the business model is that it frees up your time to focus on inventory sourcing rather than customer service.

The main downside of Amazon FBA is the upfront inventory expenses you incur. Amazon is also immensely competitive, so finding the right products to sell can be challenging. And if you get stuck with slow-selling inventory, you risk tying up your cash.

15. Stock Photography Seller

One final example of a business that runs itself is selling stock photography and videos.

This is a niche passive income idea that's fairly simple. On paper, you just take high-quality photos and videos and then upload them to sites like Shutterstock, Alamy, and iStock where people can license them from you for a fee.

In reality, selling photos online requires some serious photography skills since the market is competitive. But this is a more niche business opportunity aspiring photographers and videographers might consider.

Final Thoughts

If you're willing to put in some sweat equity and then outsource management, many businesses can run themselves. And some businesses don't even require a lot of startup capital or industry expertise to pull off.

A lot of these ideas are also excellent passive income ideas for young adults. After all, many of these hustles or business ideas don't require much money to get up and running.

Ultimately, how much involvement you want in a business depends on your goals, available time, and how comfortable you are with outsourcing responsibilities. But there's no reason you can't create a new income stream that doesn't demand all of your attention.

Day-to-day life can be quite hectic, especially when you add in responsibilities like a day job. However, this doesn't mean it's impossible to earn passive income or to create a low-maintenance business to diversify your income.

In fact, there are numerous business models and hustles that can largely be run on autopilot.

Check out these 12 different ways to create a business or income-generating asset that prints money without needing constant time and attention.

The Best Low-Maintenance Businesses

Below, you'll find 12 different business ideas or hustles that can all begin generating income while remaining incredibly low maintenance.

1. Blogging

Blogs are one of the most common low-maintenance businesses that have the potential to generate serious passive income. And once you build up a large enough audience, a blog becomes an easily-monetizable asset that is also quite hands-off.

Typically, blogs make money with a combination of strategies, including:

  • Display ads with companies like Google AdSense or Mediavine
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Selling products and services
  • Brand sponsorships

As a blog grows and generates revenue, you can outsource work like content writing, editing, and even overall website management. This is how a blog becomes a low-maintenance business, and many blog owners run networks of sites using this strategy.

You can start a blog for just a few dollars a month as well with an affordable hosting company like?SiteGround.

2. Vending Machines

Most businesses and high-traffic areas have a snack or drink vending machine. And this is yet another example of a low-maintenance business idea you can use to earn money on autopilot.

According to Naturals2Go, the average vending machine earns over $75 per week and $300 per month. It's also a high-margin business, especially for categories like soda, coffee, and snacks that you can buy in bulk.

A network of vending machines can turn into a serious business as well. Hiring employees to stock the machines and to collect cash and change is also how it becomes completely passive.

3. Print On Demand

Print on demand, or POD, is a business model that involves selling products through a manufacturing partner. All you have to do is create and upload designs to the products you want to sell. When you make a sale, the manufacturing partner creates and ships the product, so you never have to deal with manufacturing or logistics.

People often sell print on demand products on Etsy or through their own Shopify store. And it's a popular low-maintenance side business since a few viral designs have the potential to take off and generate recurring sales.

People often use print on demand providers like Printify since it lets you add your designs to over 100 products.

Sell-on-Printify

Printify offers products like shirts, stickers, hats, mugs, blankets, and plenty of other popular products. And its design tool makes it easy to add your unique designs to different products and launch your own online store.

4. Self-Storage

Self-storage facilities are another perfect example of a low-maintenance business idea that can generate passive income around the clock.

The average self-storage unit costs $180 a month. This means even a small facility with several dozen units can turn over $5,000 to $10,000 a month as long as occupancy is high.

Self-storage units are relatively low maintenance as well since you don't have to regularly pay for repairs. Land and infrastructure costs are the main upfront expenses, and then you have to pay for staffing.

If you want to start out smaller, you can also use gig apps like Neighbor. This is the Airbnb of self-storage, and it lets you rent out extra space in your home to people in your city.

5. Parking Lots

In busy cities, hourly parking can easily be $10 to $25 or more. This means a parking lot is a lucrative asset, especially if it's near facilities like sports or concert stadiums that draw large crowds.

Purchasing a parking lot requires significant upfront cash. But this is one of the best businesses that runs itself since you just need to hire a parking attendant or install parking meters to begin operating.

6. Cash Cow YouTube Channels

Making money on YouTube is another popular passive income hustle. And once a channel is established and has content that receives views every day, it's a fairly consistent low-maintenance business as well.

People are also automating YouTube further by creating “cash cow channels” with the help of AI tools.

This involves using tools like InVideo to create faceless YouTube videos by using AI prompts. With enough viral shorts and videos, creators can monetize channels without ever having to film or record themselves.

7. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing involves promoting products and services on behalf of other companies. When you generate a sale, you receive a portion of the sale or a flat fee in compensation.

Affiliate marketing is an incredibly popular way to earn money online. And it's a low-maintenance business idea since, like blogging, it can easily be outsourced and maintained once it's up and running.

There's also numerous ways to begin affiliate marketing. Many marketers rely on blogs, YouTube channels, and email marketing to find customers. But you can also begin affiliate marketing through social media or with paid ads.

8. Dropshipping

Like print on demand, dropshipping involves selling products directly from manufacturers to clients. This means you don't have to worry about manufacturing or shipping and can focus on finding winning products and optimizing your ecommerce store.

Typically, dropshipping stores run on Shopify and focus on selling trendy products that can catch people's attention on social media.

Shopify is a popular choice since it's affordable and makes selling online to customers from around the world quite seamless. And it's possible to scale a store and sales quickly through paid Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Ads.

9. Online Courses & eBooks

Selling online courses and eBooks is another low-maintenance business idea that's popular amongst content creators. It also pairs well with businesses like blogs or YouTube channels since you can use these platforms to promote the courses and eBooks you're selling.

Alternatively, you can self-publish books on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).

Kindle-direct-publishing

This is a popular strategy sellers use to quickly bring books to market. And you can even publish low-content books like planners, agendas, and notebooks through Amazon KDP.

If you need a helping hand with designing cover artwork or graphics, you can use tools like Canva to do the heavy lifting for you.

10. Rental Units

Earning passive income with real estate is another popular strategy to earn money overnight. And real estate can also be a low-maintenance business idea if you outsource property management.

Many people do this through platforms like Airbnb. In touristy areas, a single rental can generate hundreds or thousands of dollars per month. Check-ins with guests can be done via a lockbox, and you can outsource cleaning and property management to reduce maintenance time.

The main downside of this strategy is the upfront cost to purchasing a rental. However, you can always consider renting out a spare room of your current property to get started.

11. ATMs

Like vending machines, ATMs can turn into a nice source of cash if you place one in a high-traffic area like a mall or shopping center.

Generally, ATMs charge customers a small fee of a few dollars for withdrawing cash. According to ATM Depot, the average machine has about 6 to 10 transactions per day, earning anywhere from $360 to $600 per month.

12. Car Wash Business

Did you know that the average automatic car wash business can turn over almost $90,000 in annual profits? Additionally, a full-service car wash that offers extras like waxing and detailing can reach $900,000 in profits or even more in high-traffic areas

In the right market, a car wash business can be an incredibly lucrative, cash-flowing business. And during the summer, revenue can grow even more.

The downside of starting a car wash business is high startup costs for land and infrastructure. But this business is easy to outsource with employees once it's operational.

13. Digital Product Seller

Digital products are downloadable products people can purchase. They're a very popular way to earn passive income on Etsy, Shopify, or on other online marketplaces. And unlike many businesses on this list, there's almost no start-up costs.

Many people begin by selling digital downloads like artwork, stickers, planners, downloadable templates, and ebooks online. If you design the products yourself, you're also looking at a 100% profit margin since you don't need to spend anything on supplies or manufacturing.

Etsy-digital-sticker-seller
This Etsy seller has thousands of sales for digital products!

Seasonal products can also sell quite well. Some sellers also create digital products based on current events, or even memes, trying to tap into a viral topic to get quick sales.

As with print on demand businesses, you can use tools like?Printify?to easily create digital products for your new online business.

14. Laundromat

One final low-maintenance business you can consider is opening a laundromat.

In many towns and cities, people don't have enough space in their homes for an in-unit washer and dryer. This means many people still visit laundromats every week for their washing needs.

According to Laundry Solutions, it costs between $200,000 and $500,000 to open a laundromat. But the business can then easily earn about $500 a day in mostly passive income. And this business can be fully outsourced if you hire employees to manage it during the day.

Final Thoughts: Best Options For Low-Maintenance Businesses

There are?so?many ways to make more money each month. And a lot of side hustles and businesses don't require your full attention and can become completely passive. Plus, some of these ideas are perfect for young adults since they don't require much startup capital.

You might need some startup capital or sweat equity to get many of these low-maintenance businesses off of the ground. But once they're up and running, there's no reason you can't enjoy steady cash flow for years to come.

When you need some quick cash, selling things you own is one of the easiest hustles out there.

These days, you also have plenty of online and local selling options. So, you can potentially make hundreds or even thousands of dollars in a pinch if you're willing to let go of some assets.

My family and I have sold plenty of things in the past. And that's why in this post, I'm covering some of the best things to sell so you can earn quick money when you need it most.

Let's dive in!

The Best Things To Sell To Make Money

Below, I'm covering some popular categories of things you can sell. And afterwards, I'm going to list some of my favorite selling platforms and tricks you can use to maximize sales.

1. Clothing

When you are looking for things to sell to make money, you often don’t have to look further than your own closet.

We all have clothing that we no longer wear or no longer fits, so this is a great place to start. Some of the most popular brands to sell include:

  • Adidas
  • Chanel
  • Coach
  • Gucci
  • Old Navy
  • Michale Kors
  • Nike
  • Tommy Hilfiger
  • Under Armour

These designer brands often fetch the highest prices. But you can also sell gently used clothing or vintage wear.

Poshmark or eBay are great online selling options. But clothing is also a popular thing to sell on Facebook Marketplace. In fact, I regularly sell used clothing from my growing teenage son to local consignment shops and on websites like Poshmark, ThreadUp and Mercari each month.

2. Jewelry

Have a wedding ring or engagement ring from a relationship that you’re no longer in? Or, do you have old gold, silver, or designer watches that you inherited that you don’t have a use for?

If the answer is yes, you can always try selling these pieces for fast cash.

Pawn shops are one fast option to start selling. Alternatively, you can also sell your jewelry and watches online with secure platforms like Worthy if you're willing to wait a bit longer.

Worthy sell

I like Worthy since it sells pieces through online jewelry auctions. You get to work with an auction manager to decide on pricing, and Worthy handles everything from photographing your pieces to finalizing sales.

You can also try selling on Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp, but online sales generally fetch higher prices.

3. Electronics

Electronics are part of our daily life, and these high-end items can often easily be sold for cash. If you need money now, here are some of the electronics to sell or pawn:

  • Video games and gaming consoles (especially an Xbox or PS5)
  • iPads and tablets
  • Cameras
  • Smart TV’s
  • Smartphones
  • Laptops and computers
  • Computer monitors
  • Smartwatches
  • Speakers
  • Apple Airpods or any Apple product

When at all possible, be sure to include any accessories including chargers. Including the manuals is great as well if you still have them.

If you sell electronics locally, let the buyer test them out as well to know that they're working so you don't have any unfortunate surprises.

4. Toys

Children outgrow items quickly, and if you have kids, you likely have toys that your kids no longer play with. So, why not sell these items for a quick buck?

Listing toys on marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace or eBay is a great place to start. Alternatively, you can host a garage sale to sell old toys and a variety of other things around the house

Some of the most popular toys you can sell include:

  • Toy kitchens, tables, and playsets
  • Playhouses like Little Tikes and Step2
  • Riding toys
  • Beanie Babies and other plush toys
  • Trikes and bikes
  • Wooden playsets and playground equipment
  • Board games
  • Lego sets
  • Name brand toys like Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Thomas the Train
  • Nerf toys

5. Furniture

Furniture is another one of the best things to sell, especially if you have complete sets or pieces that are in great condition.

Furniture can be expensive to purchase new, so there's a lucrative market for quality used furniture on marketplaces like Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.

From beds to dressers to couches, tables and entertainment centers, most used furniture items are in demand if they are clean and in good condition.

Just be sure to disclose if you smoke in your home or whether you have pets. And if your furniture isn't in great condition, consider some DIY repair jobs or touching them up a bit before listing for sale.

Don’t have furniture of your own to sell? You can also look for free or very cheap items on the curb or at garage sales and thrift stores. With a little TLC, you can start a new flipping side hustle and turn a nice profit.

6. Books

Books are another popular thing to sell to make money, and this is also a great way to fund a reading habit if you regularly buy new books.

Book collections and college textbooks are particularly easy to sell. In fact, one of Tom's college side hustles involved flipping college textbooks each semester for a nice profit.

7. Baby Gear

Babies grow quickly, and many of their items and clothing barely get used at all after a few months. If you have baby gear that you no longer need, this can be some of the best things to sell for quick money.

Some popular pieces of gear you can sell include:

  • Cribs
  • Pack and plays
  • High chairs
  • Changing tables
  • Rockers
  • Swings and bouncers
  • Toys
  • Clothing
  • Strollers
  • Wagons

Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp are how I'd begin selling, but you can also use Craigslist or host a garage sale.

8. Collectibles

A good collection can be worth a lot of money and even be a reliable investment that appreciates over time. So, if you're willing to let go of your collectibles, you can probably make some nice cash.

Some of the hottest collectible markets right now include:

  • Stamps
  • Old coins
  • Funko Pops
  • Trading cards like Pokemon, Yugioh, and Magic The Gathering cards
  • Barbies
  • Hot Wheels
  • Legos
  • Comic books
  • Vintage records
  • Action figures
  • Lunch boxes
  • Sports cards, especially baseball cards

Just make sure your collectibles are graded and in original packaging if possible to fetch the highest price from other collectors.

You can also read our post on the top things to sell for $1,000 or even more for some more high-ticket items you can potentially sell.

9. Sports Equipment & Memorabilia

Have sports equipment you no longer use? Why not keep it from collecting dust and make quick money selling it?

I've done this in the past and so has Tom, and you'd be amazed at how much value new and used sports equipment can have. Some popular pieces you can consider selling include:

  • Golf clubs
  • Weights
  • Exercise bikes & equipment
  • Pelotons
  • Treadmills
  • Fishing, camping and hunting gear
  • Football and hockey pads
  • Nets

You can also make a lot of money selling sports memorabilia. Items like vintage jerseys, bobbleheads, autographed merchandise, and sports cards are some prime pieces you can sell.

SidelineSwap is an excellent online marketplace you can sell with. But local classified websites also work well.

10. Kitchen Gadgets & Appliances

Have kitchen items you no longer need? You may be able to sell them for cash while getting rid of some of your kitchen clutter.

Several appliances, dishes, and kitchen items you can sell to make money include:

  • High end appliances like Kitchen-aid and Cuisinart
  • Quality cookware like Le Creuset
  • Air Fryers
  • Coffee makers, grinders, and espresso makers
  • Food processors
  • Microwaves
  • Deep freezers
  • Major appliances like refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers

Make sure you clean your appliances and ensure they're working before listing them for sale. If possible, include all manuals and any accessories.

11. Used Bikes

Whether they are traditional bikes, electric bikes, or exercise bikes, there is a great market for selling used bikes.

Children’s bikes and trikes also sell well if you have bikes your kids have grown. You can also sell scooters, electric scooters, and hoverboards if they are in good working condition.

12. Seasonal Decorations

People love the holidays and any reason to decorate. If you have seasonal decorations that you no longer use, you might be able to sell them for quick cash, especially during the holiday season.

Here are some seasonal decor items to sell:

  • Artificial trees
  • Wreaths
  • Outdoor decor and inflatables
  • Garland
  • Lights
  • Ornaments
  • Faux fireplaces and mantels
  • Stockings
  • Halloween and Easter decorations

13. Digital Printables

If you're willing to get creative, another lucrative category of things to sell for money are digital printables.

People sell all sorts of digital printables like planners, stickers, organizers, budget sheets, and even artwork. And you don't need to be a graphic design pro to get started.

In fact, digital publishing software like Canva has made it easier than ever before to create custom designs and sell them online via Etsy, Shopify and other platforms.

Examples of printables you can consider selling include:

  • Coloring pages
  • Party games (baby showers, bridal showers, etc)
  • Planner pages
  • Digital stickers
  • To-do lists
  • Grocery lists
  • Budget planners

I’ve been doing this casually as a side hustle and have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of passive income selling digital printables can provide.

Tom also did this with an Etsy print on demand shop back in college. With the right designs, you can turn a printable side hustle into a full-on business, or at least a decent side gig.

My post on how to earn passive income on Etsy covers this idea in more detail if you're curious.

14. Vehicles

If you need $500 in cash, $1,000, $5,000 or more, you may be able to get that ASAP by selling a vehicle.

This can include cars, trucks, motorcycles, dirt bikes, or even more niche vehicles like ATVs and riding mowers.

You can even sell vehicles that no longer run. Used and junk car buyers are around pretty much every city. And you can even find companies that come to your home to buy your vehicle from you for fast cash.

15. Tools

Tools are generally expensive to purchase new. So, they're a popular thing you can sell for money if you need some quick cash.

Some easy used tools you can sell include:

  • Power tools
  • Tool boxes
  • Complete tool sets
  • Specialty tools
  • Wrenches
  • Brand name tools
  • Yard tools like lawnmowers, snow blowers, and trimmers

Brands like Bosch, Craftsman, Black & Decker, DeWalt, and Milwaukee can sell particularly quickly since they're so well known. And you can also sell accessories like tool carts and bags.

16. Instruments

Instruments are another easy item to sell, and Tom has made money in the past by selling acoustic guitars. But you can sell just about any instrument as long as it's in good condition.

Guitars, pianos, saxophones, and violins can sell well since they're more popular. The same goes with drum kits and accessories.

Whether you sell locally to a music store or online on Facebook Marketplace, you have plenty of options. Just make sure you research resale prices and price competitively so you can make a fast sale.

17. Sneakers

Got brand name kicks in good or mint condition? Well, you can actually sell sneakers and make some decent money, especially with the right brands.

People sell sneakers like Jordans, Nike, and Yeezys all the time. And there's actually a massive sneaker resale marketplace where people make money by flipping limited-edition footwear.

18. One-Time Wears

One final category of things to sell to make money are one-time wears.

People often purchase things for special occasions that inevitably end up collecting dust in their closets. So, why not search your own house for these items and give them a new home?

Whether it’s a wedding dress, tuxedo, prom dress, or something else you won't wear again, make money selling it and give it a second life by passing it along to someone else.

My Favorite Selling Tips

Now that I've covered some of the best items to sell, here are some of my favorite tips for sellers you can use to make faster sales:

  1. Know Your Prices: Take time to research what other sellers are listing similar items for and price your listings competitively.
  2. Take Quality Photos: Upload numerous product photos if you're selling online. Also take photos from different angles or of the product being used.
  3. Mention Product Details: Mentioning information like brand, size, condition, and if you live in a pet or smoke-free home helps buyers make better decisions.
  4. Communicate With Buyers: Always respond to buyer's questions quickly so you can lock in a sale before they move on.
  5. Watch Out For Scams: Unfortunately, scams can happen in the resale industry. My advice is to stick to dealing in cash or with trusted payment methods if you use online marketplaces. This article from the FTC covers tips for how to avoid scams when buying or selling things online.

Tom also made a video that covers some of his favorite selling apps as well as tips for buyers to avoid scams. So, check it out for even more advice on how you can make your first sale.

Final Thoughts

I hope my list of the best things to sell to make money helps you earn some quick cash while decluttering your home.

At the end of the day, there are plenty of categories of items you can sell. And you also have plenty of online and in-person selling tools to leverage as well.

And if you like the process of selling, you could even start a retail arbitrage hustle and begin buying and flipping merchandise.

Best of luck, and thanks for reading!

If you ask me, the world of ecommerce is one of the most exciting opportunities and ways to make money online.

After all, according to Statista, total ecommerce retail sales are estimated to grow from 5.2 trillion in 2021 to 8.1 trillion by 2026. That's a lot of money on the table!

Personally, I've been involved in some type of ecommerce and digital marketing ever since I worked at an agency in college. And since then, I've tested out dozens of side hustles and met dozens of entrepreneurs in the space.

So in this post, I'm covering some of the best ecommerce side hustles you can use to get started. I've tested out all of these side hustles in the past. And each one of these teaches you valuable skills and also has immense income potential.

The Best Ecommerce Side Hustles

1. Launch A Shopify Store

One of my all-time favorite ecommerce side hustle ideas is to launch your own Shopify store.

Shopify is one of the most popular and powerful ecommerce platforms out there. And it lets?anyone?build their own online storefront where they can launch their own brand and begin selling products.

So, you can theoretically launch your own Shopify store and begin creating and selling products as your own brand. Some popular products you can consider selling include:

  • Apparel
  • Custom merchandise
  • Handmade goods and crafts
  • Fitness accessories
  • Gift shop

I made a video that shares some popular online business ideas you can try. And many of these ideas are perfect for your new Shopify store.

You can also get creative here. For example, one of my friends runs a Shopify business where she sells custom ceramics and pots. She runs limited releases a few times a year, during which time she sells out all her inventory, all through her Shopify store.

I've ran my own Shopify businesses in the past. I've also run paid advertisements as a digital marketing side hustle for numerous Shopify stores in the past, and I love how easy store management is with the platform.

Plus, Shopify only costs about $31 per month in the United States. And you can often find a promotion where you get your first three months for just $1, so it's a super cheap way to launch your own ecommerce business.

Get started with Shopify!

2. Print On Demand

Print on demand, or POD, is another excellent way to make money with ecommerce if you enjoy passive income.

With POD, you work with a manufacturing partner that makes and ships your products to customers when you get a sale. All you have to do is create unique designs and add them to the products you want to sell.

Personally, I've tried out POD selling when I launched my Etsy print on demand business back in college.

The business was a bit of a flop and only got two sales. But it was an incredibly fun experience, and I tried selling memes for money by creating silly meme mugs and selling them via POD on Etsy.

Printify, one of the leading print on demand companies, is the partner I worked with to create and design my products.

Sell-on-Printify

I love using Printify since its design tool is super simple to use, so anyone can create unique products. And Printify also has over 100 products you can add your designs to and sell, including:

  • Backpacks
  • Baby clothing
  • Hats
  • Mugs
  • Phone cases
  • Socks
  • Stickers
  • Sweaters
  • T-shirts

Once you create your products, Printify lets you integrate with popular ecommerce platforms, including Etsy and Shopify. So, you can begin selling quickly and don't need any technical knowledge to get started.

Ultimately, print on demand lets?anyone?launch their own product-based ecommerce business. And you also have decent margins and don't have to worry about manufacturing.

My guide on earning Etsy passive income covers this topic in a bit more detail if you're curious.

Try out Printify!

3. Dropshipping

Like print on demand or Amazon FBA, dropshipping is another popular ecommerce business model that lets you focus on selling and store management rather than handling orders.

With dropshipping, you sell products directly from manufacturers and suppliers to your customers when you make a sale. This way, you never have to invest in inventory and hold it yourself, so you can run a very lean business.

I actually ran a dropshipping store on Shopify as one of my college side hustles. I was selling hunting hats and equipment, and I managed to get one sale with a bit of testing and by running some Facebook ads.

This guide from Brian Jung covers a step-by-step guide on how to launch a dropshipping business on Shopify if you're curious.

Personally, I suggest sticking with Shopify since it's basically built for dropshipping. And to find winning products in the right niches, you can use platforms like Spocket.

Spocket has hundreds of quality products you can sell with your dropshipping business. These products are also made in the United States and Europe, so you don't have to worry about long shipping times and poor quality like you often do with reselling Alibaba and AliExpress merchandise.

Ultimately, dropshipping is a fun and exciting way to flip your money by buying and selling popular products.

It's also an excellent way to learn the basics of ecommerce and skills like running Facebook advertisements and how to scale an online store.

4. Ecommerce Consulting

Sometimes, one of the easiest ways to make money in an industry is to help teach other people.

Therefore, another potentially lucrative ecommerce side hustle you can try out involves consulting. And this is actually one way I've made money over the years, and it's been one of my most successful hustles in this space.

For example, I've made money with SEO consulting and ecommerce store management before. I even had a $3,000 a month retainer for a while where I was running Facebook ads for some Shopify brands in the music and entertainment space.

Consulting-on-Upwork

I found many of these jobs on Upwork and from my own network. But you can also look for ecommerce-related online jobs on marketplaces like Fiverr or with online job sites like?FlexJobs.

There are also plenty of skills you can sell in this space, including:

  • Conversion rate optimization
  • Email marketing help
  • Online business coaching
  • Paid advertising specialist
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) expert
  • Social media management
  • Web designer with an ecommerce focus

Finding clients as an ecommerce consultant or freelancer can take time. But if you don't want to run a business yourself, I think this is the fastest and least risky route to making money there is.

5. Sell Digital Products

One last ecommerce side hustle idea you can consider involves selling digital products.

Digital products are one of my favorite hustles because you have incredibly high margins. After all, you don't have to spend money on materials, manufacturing, and shipping. And this is a very fun way to make money without a traditional job.

There are also plenty of digital products you can sell, including:

  • Downloadable products like decorations, business cards, and crafts
  • eBooks
  • Digital stickers, planners, and templates
  • Online courses
  • Workout guides and meal plans

Many sellers I know sell digital products on Etsy. And I even know some sticker and Etsy printable sellers earning $10k a month or more.

Personally, I'm making money by selling a freelance writing eBook, Freelance Writing For Freedom. I made the book for $0 by creating it with Canva, and it now makes about $200 a month, sometimes more, in largely autopilot income.

Freelance Writing For Freedom

This is just one simple example of how you can make money with digital products and your own ecommerce store. And again, you can sell these products on marketplaces like Etsy or with easy-to-use online store builders like Shopify or Sellfy.

Tips For Starting An Ecommerce Side Hustle

Now that you know some popular ways to make money with ecommerce, I want to share a few tips that have helped me make money in this space over the years:

  1. Pick A Niche You Understand: In my opinion, it's important to play to your strengths by sticking to niches you know instead of chasing trends.
  2. Test Numerous Ideas: Oftentimes, you have to test several products or ideas before you find one that sticks. Failure is part of the process, so don't get discouraged if your first ecommerce business doesn't take off.
  3. Scale Intentionally: Scaling an ecommerce side hustle can take months or years. The key is to reinvest your time and resources diligently but in a controlled manner. Don't just spend money on Facebook ads hoping something sticks; create a business plan and game plan and stick to it.
  4. Create A Schedule: Like any hustle, it's important to put in consistent work to find success. I suggest creating a weekly work schedule and putting a few hours in per week to your business while you hold down a day job and other responsibilities.
  5. Always Keep Learning: The ecommerce world changes all the time. It's crucial that you keep your ear to the ground and stay informed about industry changes and best practices.

Ultimately, it can take many people months or years before they find success with ecommerce. But I truly believe the income potential is immense.

Personally, it took me five years of blogging before I could go full-time. But in 2022, WebMonkey made $272,000, which just goes to show what sort of income levels a simple online business can reach.

Final Thoughts

I hope this guide on the best ecommerce side hustles helps you launch a new and profitable business.

In my experience, ecommerce is an excellent way to earn money online, even as a beginner. And while it's not always quick money, the income potential is truly inspiring with these business models.

Plus, the skills you develop along the way are immensely valuable as well. And even if your side hustle doesn' take off, the doors it can open and the networking you accomplish along the way makes it worth it.

Best of luck with your new ecommerce venture!

Out of all the ways to make money writing reviews, the Amazon Vine program is one of the most well-known.

This Amazon-run program lets you enjoy free Amazon products in exchange for leaving honest, objective reviews. Overall, it's a nice way to get some free merchandise while helping your fellow shoppers make the best decisions.

However, Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program. And there's often some confusion about how the program works and how you get in.

So, if you're wondering how to become an Amazon Vine reviewer, this is the post for you! I'm explaining how the program works, tips for increasing your odds of getting invited, and what current Amazon Vine reviewers have to say about the process.

Want other ways to make money? Checkout:

What Is Amazon Vine?

Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program that rewards insightful and objective Amazon reviewers with free products in exchange for their reviews. And it's the most popular way to write Amazon reviews for money.

Members of the program are known as Vine Voices. It's their responsibility to test out and try new Amazon products and then write honest reviews to help other people on the marketplace with their shopping choices.

Amazon Vine

What's nice about Amazon Vine is that you can receive a wide range of products to test and review, including:

  • Apparel
  • Appliances
  • Beauty supplies and cosmetics
  • Electronics
  • Food and beverages
  • Kitchen gadgets
  • Shoes
  • Toys

Vine Voice reviews get a specially marked badge on Amazon that says it's a “Vine Customer review of free product.” So, shoppers can identify which reviews are written by esteemed reviewers.

And for brands that sell on Amazon, the Vine program provides an opportunity to market new products and get authentic reviews for their merchandise.

How To Become An Amazon Vine Reviewer

The Amazon Vine program is a very popular way to review products for money. But out of all the ways to earn money with Amazon, it's one of the trickiest to get into because it's invitation-only.

Thankfully, the company outlines some steps you can take to increase your odds of getting an invitation. So, let's dive into how to become an Amazon Vine reviewer so you can get started.

1. Write Amazon Reviews Consistently

The best way to become an Amazon Vine reviewer is to simply write Amazon reviews consistently since this increases the odds you get an invitation.

Amazon even says this on the Vine page, stating that people who “consistently write insightful reviews are most likely to be invited.”

If you already do a lot of weekly shopping on Amazon, just get in the habit of writing reviews after. And make sure you write comprehensive reviews and include photos of your purchase.

2. Be Honest & Unbiased

Writing consistent reviews is important to becoming an Amazon Vine reviewer. However, your reviews need to be unbiased and honest as well.

There's a misconception that you need to write positive reviews to get invited to Amazon Vine. This isn't true, and it's more important to be honest and to explain your real experience with a product rather than just leaving five-star reviews.

Amazon Vine Voice leaving review
An example of a Vine Voice review I saw. Note how it's honest and includes numerous photos.

Here are some useful things to mention in your Amazon reviews:

  • Durability
  • Value-for-money
  • If a product exceeded your expectations or not
  • Anything that surprised you about a product
  • Anything that annoys you
  • If you think the product listing is accurate or not
  • If the colors look the same in real life as in photos
  • Who else might like or dislike the product

Your reviews can be positive, negative, or even neutral. But again, you need to outline objective facts and then talk about your experiences with the products you buy.

3. Have Reviews Marked As Helpful

Customer can mark reviews as “helpful” on Amazon. This metric helps reviewers know that their advice is being used by other shoppers. And it allegedly increases the odds you get invited to Amazon Vine.

Amazon Vine helpful reviewAs you can see in this Amazon Vine review screenshot above, plenty of other shoppers have marked the review as helpful.

This is a sign that you're doing your job right, so aim for as many helpful review votes as possible.

How Long Does It Take To Join Amazon Vine?

There's no specific onboarding process for Amazon Vine because the program is invitation-only. It might take years of writing Amazon reviews to get invited, or just a few months.

The only thing people can do to increase their odds of getting an invitation is to write consistent, high-quality and honest reviews.

Shopping more on Amazon can help with this since you'll have more opportunities to write reviews. But again, there's no guarantee you get invited to this side hustle.

What Do Current Amazon Vine Reviewers Say?

If you're still wondering how to become an Amazon Vine reviewer, you're in luck.

There are actually plenty of current Amazon Vine reviewers on forums like Reddit who share how many reviews they wrote before getting invited to join and what the entire process is like.

Here's what several reviewers are saying in one thread:

  • roobot says: “Seems completely random these days! I had a pretty low view count on my reviews when I first joined, but one of my posts had “7 helpful votes” which seemed to be enough to get me accepted.”
  • pinko_zinko says: “I got an invite after putting some effort into posting additional instructions on how to use obscure electrical components for micro controllers.”
  • Hollywoodnamazonvine says: “I read one person had written only four reviews when invited. I had written a few more. But, my reviews were detailed, complained about the product, had no profanity, and a few had pictures.”
  • CheapPens says: “As others have said, I don’t think the quantity or quality of reviews has anything to do with it. I only had a few helpful votes on a small quantity of reviews when I was invited into the program. I’m leaning towards the demographics theory that some have thrown out there.”

Amazon Vine invitation timeAs you can see, these Vine Voices seem to agree that it's somewhat random in terms of how many reviews you have to write to get an invitation.

One common theory is that your location and demographics matter since Amazon wants reviewers in several markets. This seems pretty logical to me, but it's difficult to know what's actually true.

Ultimately, the only thing you can do to get into this online side hustle world is to consistently write thoughtful reviews and hope for the best.

Is Amazon Vine Legit?

Yes, Amazon Vine is legit, and it's a real way to get free Amazon products in exchange for testing them and writing honest reviews. And for brands, the Vine program is an effective way to get more authentic reviews on your products to help market them better.

Is this a full-time online job or serious source of income? Absolutely not.

However, if you like free money and merchandise, Amazon Vine could be for you. And the process of testing out new Amazon products and writing about your experiences can also be quite fun.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • A free way to get Amazon products
  • Amazon Vine is available in several countries
  • A fun side hustle if you enjoy helping other people
  • A unique way to get paid for shopping by earning free merchandise

Cons:

  • It can take years of consistent reviews to get an invitation
  • Vine Voices don't get paid real money

The Best Amazon Vine Alternatives

In my opinion, the best Amazon Vine alternative is to make money with some type of Amazon affiliate marketing.

This is because the Amazon affiliate program pays you to recommend Amazon products to people. When someone shops through your links, you get a small commission for sending a customer to Amazon.

This is actually one way I make money online, and one of my niche blogs actually makes about $50 to $100 a month right now from the Amazon affiliate program.

Niche Amazon Affiliate Earnings

You can also consider joining the Amazon Influencer program, a new initiative that also pays you to recommend specific products to Amazon customers.

This program is interesting because you get your own storefront page and can promote products by making videos, images, and even live streaming.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Amazon Vine Pay You?

No, Amazon Vine doesn't pay you with real money. The only compensation you receive are the products you get to test and review, which are delivered to you free-of-charge and don't have to be returned.

Who Can Join Amazon Vine?

Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program, and it currently operates in several markets, including North America, the UK, Spain, and France.

Final Thoughts

I hope my guide on how to become an Amazon Vine reviewer helps you understand how this gig works and what you can do to increase the odds of an invitation.

Sure, being a Vine Voice won't make $10k a month or pay your bills. But it's a fun way to enjoy free products from new brands while helping out fellow shoppers.

And who knows: you can always use your reviewing skills to branch out into other side hustles. Freelance writing is a perfect example, or blogging about certain products and niches, so you really have plenty of options.

Best of luck!

There's no denying that we live in a digital world. From the content we consume to how we do business, pretty much everything is done online these days.

This also means that the digital marketing industry is?massive. In fact, according to a study from the Global Industry Analysts Inc, the global digital advertising and marketing industry is anticipated to reach $786.2 billion by 2026.

So, if you're looking for a new side hustle idea and want to make money online, it's the perfect time.

In fact, it's never been better to start a digital marketing side hustle. And I've personally earned over $100,000 from a mix of digital marketing side gigs over the last few years.

In this post, I'm outlining some of my favorite online marketing side hustles. By the end, you should have an idea of where the money is in this industry and how to get started.

The Best Digital Marketing Side Hustles

Digital marketing is a pretty complex industry with a?lot?of sub-niches. This means it's critical to know your skills and interests when you start looking for your first gigs.

Personally, I've made money with numerous digital marketing side hustles and online jobs over the years. But specialization is what's helped me land higher-paying clients and make more money.

But if you're just starting out, it's definitely worth considering all of these lucrative digital side hustles.

1. Search Engine Optimization Consultant

Search engine optimization, or SEO, is the process of optimizing content and websites to appear more highly on search engines.

SEO is a massive component of digital marketing. After all, it doesn't matter if you run a blog, ecommerce store, or brick-and-mortar business; getting more traffic from Google is usually a good thing.

SEO consulting is also how I've made a lot of my money since college. I started by landing some easy jobs on Upwork to get started, and I've earned over $10,000 on that platform to date:

Consulting-on-Upwork

The main SEO side hustles I've done over the years include:

  • One-time website audits
  • SEO roadmap plans (basically creating content maps)
  • Ecommerce store optimization
  • Competitor analysis

I learned my SEO knowledge from running WebMonkey and from a previous job at an advertising agency. But you can learn everything you need to know about SEO for free online or with affordable courses on Skillshare.

As for how you find clients, I suggest turning to your network first. But plenty of remote job sites also have SEO gigs you can apply to.

And for your SEO toolkit, I suggest using SEMRush. It's the all-in-one SEO tool that I've used for 5+ years, and it's what I use for all of my client work.

2. Paid Advertising Specialist

Another popular digital marketing side hustle you can try out is being a paid advertising specialist.

This is actually my most successful marketing side hustle. In fact, it's how I paid for college and how I made money while holding down my day job afterwards.

Personally, I focus on Facebook Ads and Google Ads for local businesses and ecommerce stores. At one point, one of my best friends and I were earning $3,000 a month by running ads for two local furniture businesses.

This video from YouTuber Jordan Le provides a pretty excellent overview of how to run Google Ads for local businesses.

Now, I learned how to run ads by working at a digital marketing agency during school and after college. This let me spend?other?people's money before risking my own, and it helped me sharpen my skills.

This is what I suggest other people do. However, you can also take free Google Ads certification and Facebook Ads certifications from Google and Meta to learn the ropes.

3. SEO Content Writer

If you have a knack for writing, one excellent digital marketing side hustle is to become a freelance writer.

Freelance writing is actually how I make most of my money these days alongside blogging. And it's the digital marketing skill that let me quit my office job and travel the world, making money from my laptop.

Lions Head hike South Africa
From Lions Head hike in Cape Town, South Africa this year.

However, there's a?massive?difference between writing articles and writing articles with SEO best practices in mind.

When you know how to write articles with keywords and SEO best practices, you're more valuable. So, you can charge more and land more clients.

Some content writing gigs even?require?having a basic understanding of SEO and how to use tools like SEMRush and Ahrefs. So, if you know these skills, I think it's an excellent way to make money with digital marketing.

Personally, I've had clients pay anywhere from $0.15 to $0.35 per word. This means a single article pays me around $150 to $500 depending on the word count.

You can check out my new eBook, Freelance Writing For Freedom, for the step-by-step guide on how I scaled my writing income and career.

4. Affiliate Marketing Specialist

Affiliate marketing is another lucrative area of digital marketing with plenty of opportunity for side hustlers.

Personally, affiliate marketing is how I earn a lot of my blogging income. In fact, WebMonkey can make $1,000 a day or more sometimes when affiliate channels are going well.

Impact Radius Income
My 2022 affiliate income from one of my networks.

Some of the ways you can make money with your affiliate marketing skills include:

  • Offering optimization and tracking services to bloggers
  • Doing affiliate and sponsorship outreach for bloggers
  • Making money on YouTube with an affiliate marketing focused channel
  • Making money with a niche affiliate site or PPC affiliate arbitrage

I've considered hiring an affiliate marketing expert to help with my own site in the past. And some clients I've written for have a full-time affiliate marketing manager on staff as well, so there's lots of money in this space.

5. Print On Demand

Print on demand, or POD, is another top digital marketing side hustle that blends graphic design, SEO, and ecommerce.

With print on demand, you sell merchandise to people on platforms like Etsy, Shopify, or marketplaces like Redbubble. When you make a sale, a manufacturing partner creates and ships the order to your customer, so you never deal with inventory or shipping.

I actually tried starting an Etsy print on demand business back in college. My idea was to make money with memes by selling silly mugs to people.

Etsy-items-in-shop
These were the meme mugs I sold!

I used Printify, my favorite POD provider, to make the mugs I was selling. And I even managed to make two sales with organic traffic to my Etsy shop and by promoting it on Instagram.

I like using Printify since it has over 100 products you can add your designs to, including hats, backpacks, stickers, shirts, phone cases, and more.

Plus, its design tool is beginner-friendly, and you can make new products with just a few clicks by uploading your designs to them.

My post on how to make passive income with Etsy covers this topic in more detail if you're curious!

Try out Printify!

6. Blogger

I couldn't possibly write a list of the best marketing side hustles without mentioning blogging.

I started WebMonkey back in college. And in my first year, the website only earned $1,700.

However, I learned more about SEO and blogging over the years. And fast forward to today, and in 2022, WebMonkey made over $272,000.

These days, WebMonkey makes $50k a month, so this just demonstrates the income potential of this area of digital marketing.

My video above explains the steps I took to scale my blog. But in a nutshell, much of my blogging income comes from display ads that I run with Mediavine. In fact, the blog makes $500 a day from ads alone, which is largely passive income at this point.

I also make a lot of my blogging income from affiliate marketing, as mentioned.

But I love blogging as a side hustle since it teaches you?so?many useful digital marketing skills. Blogging is what really taught me content writing, SEO, some basic web design, and affiliate marketing.

And you can monetize in other ways, like offering sponsored posts or by selling your own physical and digital products.

Plus, there are thousands of blogging niches you can explore. And getting started isn't expensive whatsoever.

I mean, you can find affordable domain and WordPress hosting with a company like SiteGround and start a blog as a fun side project. If you stick with it, there's no telling where you might end up.

7. Dropshipping

Dropshipping is another digital marketing side gig that's been growing in popularity the last few years.

Like print on demand, dropshipping involves selling products to customers without ever handling inventory or shipping yourself. This is because when you make a sale, you purchase the product from the manufacturer and have them ship it right to your customer.

I actually launched a dropshipping store on?Shopify?back in college. It made one sale, but I wasn't able to break even between Facebook Ads and my product cost.

However, dropshipping can be incredibly lucrative. And I like the business model because you can test new products quickly and focus on ads and conversion rate optimization because you don't have to deal with shipping and logistics.

This video from YouTuber and dropshipping expert Jorda Welch shares a step-by-step guide on how to start dropshipping if you're curious.

Overall, dropshipping is a simple yet potentially lucrative online business to try. And you can start without spending much money with a simple Shopify store and a few products.

Pro Tip: You can also use Spocket to find the next best dropshipping products for North America and Europe and get ahead of trends and your competitors.

8. Email Marketing Specialist

Another popular digital marketing side hustle you can try is becoming an email marketing specialist.

Email marketing is one of the most profitable forms of marketing. In fact, according to Constant Contact, email marketing has a return on investment of $36 for every $1 spent. And you can use this roi calculator from Omnisend to see the impact of what a profitable email marketing campaign could accomplish.

So, if you know how to design amazing email flows and campaigns, you can make a?lot?of money in this space.

Companies I've worked for have paid email marketing consultants thousands of dollars for this kind of work. And if you know your stuff, it's an excellent skill to sell online.

9. Ecommerce Store Manager

Have a knack for running online businesses? In this case, one of the best digital marketing side gigs is to become an ecommerce store manager.

Brands hire operators?all?the time to take over general management of online brands. And you can even find these types of gigs on marketplaces like Fiverr:

Fiverr ecommerce store operator
Some Fiverr ecommerce store manager gigs I found.

Some people I know do this for their full-time income stream. And if you're relatively new to digital marketing, you can still find work in supporting roles or as a virtual assistant.

10. Social Media Manager

If you're still wondering how to start a digital marketing side hustle, one option you can consider is social media management.

Social media managers are a dime a dozen these days. But then again, more and more businesses are getting on social media to find new customers.

As a social media manager, your day-to-day responsibilities mostly include coming up with content, formatting it, and posting it online. Some of the most popular platforms you're likely working with include:

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • Pinterest
  • Facebook
  • YouTube

I actually have a YouTube video on some awesome online business ideas, and one of them involves repurposing social media content for content creators.

Again, this is a pretty saturated space. But with the emergence of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, I think there's a lot of opportunity for video when it comes to social media management.

11. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist

One niche digital marketing side hustle you can consider is CRO, or conversion rate specialization.

A CRO expert generally gets paid to analyze an online business, find pain points that reduce conversion rates, and then optimize accordingly.

This type of online consultant work often carries a?massive?price tag. After all, if you help a business that's doing $50 million a year increase its conversion rate by 0.50% or 1%, that's a significant lift.

I don't think this is a good side hustle for digital marketers who are just starting out. But if you've been in the ecommerce game for a long time, it's worth trying.

12. Website Designer

One final digital marketing side job you can consider is web design.

Like social media management, this is a pretty saturated niche. However, businesses and freelancers still need websites built for them every day. And if you have programming skills, this could be how you make money.

Fiverr-custom-websites
Some custom web design gigs on Fiverr.

My friend Grant actually made money programming and by designing websites after college. Again, it's saturated and a grind, but it's possible.

My suggestion here is to specialize in a platform and niche. For example, apparel Shopify stores could be what you excel at.

This way, you can get better at a type of web design, develop a stronger portfolio, and land higher-paying gigs.

Tips For Starting A Digital Marketing Side Hustle

Now that you know some of my favorite digital marketing side hustles, here are some tips to keep in mind to increase your odds of landing a paid gig:

  1. Get Certified: Certifications like Google and Meta Ads are free, but they show clients you care and are professional. So, look for courses, certifications, and any online credential you can to improve your resume.
  2. Be Honest: Many digital marketing niches, like SEO, get a negative reputation from all the snake oil salesmen. Always be honest with clients, and don't over promise something just to get a retainer.
  3. Learn From The Workplace: Personally, I got my start in online marketing by working at an agency during college. I think this is the best way to learn outside of online courses. And it lets you spend serious money without risking your own capital.
  4. Invest In Tools: Tools like SEMRush and online courses like Skillshare are worth paying for if they help you land clients and do a better job. For me, SEMRush has been a game changer for my own blog and the SEO consulting that I've done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Digital Marketing A Good Side Business?

Digital marketing is a good side business, but in my opinion, you have to specialize in a niche and service to find success. For me, it's been SEO consulting for blogs and personal finance content writing.

If you stay too general, you run the risk of being a Jack of all trades but a master of none. The Internet is competitive, so niche-down and offer a specialized service with a more premium price.

Which Digital Marketing Skills Pay The Most?

In my experience, digital marketing consulting and paid ads management pay the most. In both of these fields, I've landed monthly retainers paying several thousands of dollars, which worked out to an hourly rate of a few hundred dollars.

That said, pretty much any digital marketing side hustle can be very lucrative if you're one of the best in the world at it.

For example, I know some email marketing experts making high six-figures a year from consulting. Same goes for paid advertising specialists, or branding experts.

What's The Best Email Marketing Side Hustle?

Email copywriting and conversion rate optimization specialists are two of the highest-paying email marketing side hustles. You can also consider starting an email marketing agency and offer end-to-end solutions for your clients if you want to go the B2B route.

Some of my friends make money by offering email copywriting services to several brands and content creators. This remote side gig can pay a very high hourly rate, and clients can even pay monthly retainers or revenue shares depending on the contract.

Final Thoughts

I hope this list of digital marketing side hustles inspires you to put your marketing skills to work and make some extra cash.

Honestly, I?love?online marketing. And if you have the right skills, I fully believe you can sell them online and start a new, fun side hustle.

Digital marketing has honestly changed my life and career path (I studied psychology in school, after all.) I think there's tremendous opportunity in this industry, and new opportunities also appear all of the time, so be ready!

Best of luck!

In the time I've run WebMonkey, I've been approached to?sell?the website about a half-dozen times.

Some of these requests were a joke, but two were pretty serious. In fact, I even had a phone call to hear them out, even though I wasn't going to sell.

On the flip side, I've also dabbled with the idea of aquiring a micro-niche website for a while now, just to play around.

In any case, regardless of what side I've been on in the buying or selling website equation, one marketplace has always been a commonly recommended resource to turn to: Flippa.

Flippa is one of the leading websites for buying and selling websites, apps, and even domain names.

Chances are, if you've ever bought or sold a website, you've at least browsed through Flippa before.

Now, the world of website flipping and buying/selling is competitive. Plus, it's also a tad?scary.

After all, exchanging a website isn't like exchanging a tangible good, so there's a lot more importance on trust and security than if you're simply selling a commodity.

So today, we're going to break down what buyers and sellers should expect in our official Flippa review.

Plus, we're also going to hear from Flippa's CEO Blake Hutchison on why Flippa deserves to be your go-to marketplace the next time you need to flip a website or buy a new one.

Let's get to it!

What Is Flippa?

Flippa is an Australian-based company that specializes in the buying and selling of websites.

Founded in 2009, Flippa has grown into one of the most popular website marketplaces around.

Flippa

Now, Flippa is known for selling websites, but you can actually find a variety of websites and assets on the marketplace, including:

  • Ecommerce websites, like Amazon FBA businesses and dropshipping stores.
  • Content based websites, like blogs, review websites, directories, and forums.
  • Marketplaces.
  • SaaS websites.
  • IOS and Android apps.
  • Domain names.

Websites are certainly the most popular category on Flippa, with ecommerce and content websites taking center stage.

So, Flippa is essentially a marketplace where you can scoop up a new ecommerce business or blog or sell your own if you're looking to make some cash.

How Does Flippa Work?

You need to create a Flippa account to use the marketplace as a buyer or seller. Creating an account is completely free.

Additionally, Flippa makes the process of exchanging a website easy for both buyers and sellers.

Flippa For Buyers

Flippa is most commonly used for buying and selling websites, and this is where the marketplace truly shines.

On Flippa, it's easy to find the exact type of website you want to buy (content or ecommerce) and at a range of prices.

Flippa's home page organizes assets for sale based on their category.

This makes it easy to quickly find websites Flippa editors have highlighted, fully-operational websites, ecommerce businesses, and starter sites,

business-types

If you click on a listing, you can view more details about the specific website.

Flippa lets sellers provide a comprehensive breakdown of their site, including:

  • Monthly traffic from Google Analytics, including historical data. Sellers can't alter this data so it's impossible to get scammed from a traffic perspective.
  • The top channels for traffic, so you know if a website has more organic or social traffic.
  • Gross revenue and profit. Websites can explain if this is from Adsense, affiliate income, or other streams.
  • A traffic report from SEMRush that includes information on backlinks.

Listings also show the current price, views, how many buyers are watching the listing, and a history of bids.

Additionally, listings can include a reserve price or a buy-it-now price.

reporting
An example of Flippa's traffic report on listings.

All of this data makes it easy to get a snapshot of a website you're considering.

However, the best part of any Flippa listing is the seller's notes.

Flippa lets sellers explain their website in detail, and professional sellers truly make use of this section.

Good sellers will explain every aspect of their website, including a traffic and revenue breakdown, their reason for selling, the website history, website KPIs, opportunities for growth, and marketing information.

Plus, sellers also outline?everything?that's included in a sale, as well as the costs you're taking on.

Typically, this means aquiring all of a website's content, social media handles, WordPress assets, and email addresses associated with the website.

Sellers typically offer post-sale support as well to help transfer the property and lend some advice. Sellers can also sign a non-compete.

Ultimately, Flippa makes it easy for buyers to vet a website, communicate with sellers, and start a new online business for themselves through aquisition.

Flippa For Sellers

If you're selling a website, you can use Flippa's free website valuation tool to find the value of your website.

I don't suggest?only?relying on this tool to value your website, but it's nice that Flippa gets the ball rolling for sellers.

Now, one thing that's important to consider is selling fees for using Flippa.

As a seller, you pay two main types of fees: a listing fee and a selling success fee if you complete a sale.

Listing fees include:

  • Start websites/templates?– $15.
  • Domain names?– $10.
  • Apps – $15.
  • Established websites – $49

listing-fees

This is honestly a very?affordable listing fee, but it's enough to help keep out sellers who aren't serious and it reduces the number of scams.

Now, you also pay a success fee if you end up selling the website that's based on the total value of the sale.

Success fees are:

  • Up to $50,000 – Pay a 10% fee.
  • $50,000 to $100,000 – Pay a 7.5% fee.
  • $100,000+?– Pay a 5% fee.

You can also deal with a partner broker and pay a 15% fee if you want to take the stress out of selling.

Flippa-success-fees

When it comes to making your listing, it's important to include as much information as possible to help buyers make informed decisions.

Thankfully, Flippa makes it pretty easy.

As mentioned, sellers can list a lot of information to describe the reason for selling, traffic, revenue, and future growth opprtunities.

You can also attached reports in your listing, which is a nice way to compile KPI data to share with potential buyers.

Is Flippa Safe?

Let me start out by saying that?you can get scammed doing almost anything in this world.

Buying or selling websites on Flippa is no different, and that's why the main rule with using Flippa is that you?have to use common sense.

According to Flippa, the platform keeps sellers and buyers safe by:

  • Having a marketplace security team.
  • Marking trustworthy memebrs as super buyers and sellers.
  • Implementing identity verification.
  • Allowing PayPal, wire transfer, and an escrow service for payment.

Flippa also has around a 4 star average reviw on websites like Trust Pilot:

Flippa-review-trustpilot-ratings

All of this bodes well, and Flippa is a safe marketplace.

However,?you can still get scammed?if you don't do your research.

Flippa makes payment processing and the overall exchange process safe, but you still need to do your own research.

Think:?why is a seller deciding to sell a website?

Sellers will butter you up all they want with reasons, but you have to dig deeper.

Does the website use a PBN? Is organic traffic tanking? Is a new piece of upcoming legislation going to destroy the revenue model of the website?

Ask yourself these questions, and don't be afraid to use outside research tools like SEMRush or to ask for other opinions.

What Makes Flippa Unique? – Words From Flippa CEO Ben Hutchison

One of the main reasons I wanted to write this Flippa review was because Flippa's CEO, Ben Hutchison, was able to share his insights on why Flippa makes sense for buyers and sellers alike.

Here are the questions I asked Ben to shed some light on:

Why Should Sellers Use Flippa Over The Competition?

The answer is price, scale and speed.

Flippa charges a success fee when you successfully sell. This fee is a percentage of the sale price and ranges from 5-10%.

If you're selling a site, store, app, domain or online business for? $100k plus, Flippa charges 5%. This is the least expensive option globally.

We have more buyers. With nearly 1000 new buyers joining each day, we are unmatched for scale.

Buyers join Flippa because we are the largest and the #1 marketplace globally for buying online businesses and digital real estate.

Sellers and buyers move quickly on Flippa. Given our scale, a high quality asset can sell in days! That’s unmatched and works in the interest of motivated buyers and sellers.

Finally, I should add that Flippa is an open platform enabling direct contact between a business owner and a prospective buyer.

We also have brokers operating on the platform.

This is different to others and has proven to be efficient and favourable for all parties. ‘Getting to know each other’ is critical to having an effective negotiation and even more critical through the handover process.

What Are Some Tips For Flipping A Website?

Only quality assets sell.

So, in that context, think about merchandising.

This is the most important step in selling an asset and you need to think about it strategically – what is your unique selling proposition. What makes it a quality asset that buyers should consider?

Additionally, always include key metrics.

If it’s an eCommerce site, it’s not enough to say that you make $25,000 monthly net profit.

What is your Average Order Value (AOV), what is your Cost Per Unit (CPU) and if you advertise, what is your Return on Ad Spend?

This is the same for a content or SaaS asset. You will want to highlight key metrics.

Flippa-proof
Example of additional proof a top seller uploaded to their listing.

With pricing, use the Flippa Valuation Tool.

This is based on historical sales data and will give you a rough estimate. You can also look at Flippa Success Stories to get a sense of what good quality assets sell for.

For example, this case study covers the successful sale of Outdoor Man Cave.

Flippa-success-story
This website sold for over $100,000!

Is Website Flipping Better Than Domain Flipping For Side Hustlers?

Yes, I think it is.

And, it sounds odd but most people don’t flip at all.

They don’t build to sell, they build to thrive. In fact, the average asset sold on Flippa is just over 4 years old.

Websites and online businesses are a more predictable side hustle. Value is easier to predict. They are assessed on performance rather than more arbitrary or ‘personal’ assessments.

Extra Reading – How To Flip Money – 14 Best Assets To Flip.

What's Easiest To Flip? Ecommerce Businesses? Blogs? Does It Matter?

I wouldn’t think of it in the context of a ‘flip’.

I would think of it from a demand standpoint.

There’s currently more demand for blogs supported by ad revenue and this is because they are perceived as being more consistent in performance, more reliable, and with less operational costs.

When Should Someone Start Buyig & Selling Websites?

If someone is looking to create a website to flip they would need to have the skills to build a compelling site with value.

By creating value, I mean something that operates in a niche where there is substantial customer demand and where the site has proven that it can attract customers and either transact or attract advertising dollars.

If they are looking to assist first time website owners than these are termed ‘Starter Sites’ and in this case, a Flippa customer is looking for a business in a box, something that has a good domain, a nice unique design, is setup from a sales standpoint and enables them to essentially ‘switch it on’ and run.

The key thing to recognise is that buyers pay for performance and look for opportunity.

Therefore, the best sites are those with a strong trading history and areas for improvement.

Flippa Alternatives

I'd like to thank Ben for taking the time to share why buyers and sellers should consider sticking with Flippa.

I've considered aquiring a smaller website in the past, and frankly, I'm probably going to end up using Flippa just because of the volume of listings.

However, this wouldn't be a fair review without mentioning some other websites like Flippa.

Popular options include:

  • Motion Invest – A newer player in the world of website aquisition, but one that is growing in popularity. I've heard pretty good things about Motion Invest and am even on their mailing list to get news of when new blogs hit the market.
  • Empire Flippers – One of the main Flippa competitors. The main difference I spot is that Flippa has more volume but Empire Flippers has more expensive listings and isn't ideal for starter sites.
  • Exchange Marketplace – This is Shopify's own marketplace where you can easily buy and sell existing ecommerce businesses at a healthy range of prices.

Ultimately, your budget and goals will play a massive role in which marketplace you use.

Additionally, there's always the option of dealing with independent website brokers, but you'll have to pay more for the luxury!

Flippa Pros & Cons

If you're still uncertain about using Flippa, consider some of the pros and cons of using one of the most popular marketplaces in the business:

Flippa Pros

The main advantages of Flippa include:

  • A wide variety of websites, including different niches and price points.
  • Range of listings – apps, domains, websites, ecommerce businesses!
  • Easy to use.
  • Some security features in place to reduce scams, such as Google Analytics traffic reports and identity verification.

Flippa Cons

Despite the advantages, some of Flippa's downsides include:

  • There?are still scams! You need to use your brain and do some serious research before buying on Flippa since people can still skew revenue numbers and hide problems.
  • Some sellers are difficult, which could be an indication of a scam or simply an inexperienced, stubborn seller.

Final Word

Ultimately, I think this Flippa testimonial from Trust Pilot summarizes things best:

Another-Flippa-Testimonial

You can find reputable, profitable businesses on Flippa as a buyer.

You can also securely sell your website without having to pay too much in fees as a seller.

However,?everyone has to do due diligence, especially buyers.

For every listing that's a steal, there are others that probably aren't as attractive as they make themselves out to be.

Ultimately, you are responsible for buying a quality website/app/domain, and Flippa can only do so much to prevent scams.

I hope this Flippa review has helped clarify what you should expect if you decide to buy or sell on Flippa!

If you've ever used Flippa before or another platform to buy/sell a website, let me know about your experiences in the comments!

There's no denying that Amazon is an absolute behemoth. After all, it’s one of the “Big Four” of tech companies in the U.S. and a massive Ecommerce player.

In fact, Amazon sells more than 12 million products, and the average Amazon Prime member spends approximately $1,400 per year on Amazon. This sort of scale isn't even easy to comprehend as a consumer.

Because Amazon is such a powerhouse, the company is in constant need of workers. Therefore, anyone willing to put in a bit of time and effort can make money on Amazon!

How To Make Money On Amazon

Since Amazon is such a massive company, there are so many ways to make money online or start a side hustle through this ecommerce giant. I've also been making money on Amazon for years with some of these ideas. So, if you're looking for some new money-making ideas, you're in luck.

1. Create An Amazon Affiliate Site

One popular way to make some money with Amazon is by building your own Amazon affiliate website. And, the Amazon Affiliate Program is quite simple.

With an Amazon Affiliate website, you get paid to promote many of the millions of products for sale at Amazon by creating links within your site that send readers to make a purchase. If someone purchases that product or any other product from Amazon within 24 hours, you earn commission.

amazon-affiliate-example
Example of a treadmill-focused Amazon Affiliate site. These sites are characterized by in-depth product reviews, top 10 lists, or general purchasing guides.

To make money with Amazon affiliates, you generally need to create a niche website. Usually, Amazon Affiliate websites take on the role of reviewing products or creating shopping guides for buyers.

Like making money with blogging, Amazon Affiliate sites are immensely competitive in terms of SEO and actually getting people to shop through your website.

But this is still a viable way to make money with Amazon in 2023. For example, one of my niche sites earned $554 in 2022 through the Amazon Affiliate program, and it's just getting up and running:

Niche Amazon Affiliate Earnings

Overall, these affiliate links can still bring in relatively passive income. Product commission rates vary from 1%-10%. Once you do the initial work, you can earn commissions from affiliate sales on Amazon indefinitely.

Just be sure to maintain your integrity by only recommending products you trust that fit with the theme of the site so your readers or followers won’t see you as trying to take advantage of them.

2. Drive For Amazon Flex

Another effective way to make money with Amazon is by becoming a driver with Amazon Flex. If you have a reliable vehicle and want to make money by delivering packages to Amazon customers, this is the perfect gig app to use.

With Amazon Flex, you get paid to deliver Amazon packages, groceries, and Whole Foods orders to customers. It's free to sign up, and it's one of the best ways to get paid to drive right now.

work-for-Amazon-Flex

Amazon Flex drivers earn around $18-$25 per hour, depending on factors like where you live and how quickly you can make deliveries. And according to Indeed, $20.70 is the average hourly pay.

Delivery shifts, known as Amazon Flex blocks, generally last three to six hours. This means a single Amazon Flex block can pay $100 to $150 or more if you get lucky.

You have to be 21 or older to sign up for Amazon Flex in the United States. Additionally, there's often a waiting list since this is a popular gig economy job.

However, this is one of the best ways to make money with Amazon if you want an in-person hustle and have access to a vehicle.

3. Amazon Retail Arbitrage

Want another idea of how to make money with Amazon?

Well, you don't have to reinvent the wheel for this one. By using retail arbitrage, you can make money with Amazon and potentially scale to some pretty impressive figures if you find the right niche.

Retail arbitrage is the process of buying products from a retailer and then reselling them at higher prices on Amazon.

Retail arbitrage hustlers take advantage of moments when a certain store has an overstock and needs to move inventory for a lower price. Then, they resell their products on Amazon to turn a profit.

amazon-fba-retail-arbitrage
A snapshot of inventory being sent to an Amazon Fulfillment Center from Nate and Alysha, a couple that run a million-dollar retail arbitrage business through Amazon.

Generally, retail arbitrage sellers focus on popular products and categories like:

  • Apparel
  • Books
  • Electronics
  • Jewelry and watches
  • Home goods
  • Shoes
  • Toys
  • Video games

Again, you need to find products on sale to turn a profit in most cases. But with enough inventory, you can make considerable income.

If you haven't read the Young Money Interview of how Nate and Alysha created a million-dollar retail arbitrage business, be sure to check their story out!

4. Amazon FBA

Did you know that more than 50% of items sold on Amazon now come from third party sellers and not Amazon itself?

Amazon is making it easier for merchants across the world to access Ecommerce. A large part of this is thanks to the Amazon FBA Program.

amazon-fba

The Amazon FBA program makes it easy for Amazon sellers to conduct their business without having to worry about handling merchandise.

Once you’re in the FBA program, you can begin adding products to the Amazon catalog and create your product listings. Then, you ship products to Amazon warehouses and have them handle customer purchases from there

Using Amazon FBA gives you the benefits of Amazon’s quality customer service. Your customers will be drawn to the Amazon 2-day shipping with Prime membership as well.

You do pay something to store your items in their warehouses, and fees for other optional services may apply. However, if your merchandise sells regularly, the FBA program is an incredibly effective way to make money on Amazon and to remove logistical headaches.

5. Amazon Private Labeling

Here’s another idea for making money on Amazon: start an Amazon FBA Private Label business.

If you want to market products that are made by a third-party manufacturer, sold under a brand name, and are fulfilled by Amazon, this is for you.

People who use private labeling to earn from Amazon also mix in quite a bit of retail arbitrage to turn a profit. Usually, this involves buying cheap merchandise from websites like Alibaba in mass quantities, and then marking the product up under a ‘new' brand on Amazon.

Amazon-Private-LabelIn this above example, you can see this nifty garlic crusher is going for $1.31 per unit on orders of 2,000 or more.

At the risk of having your garage full of hundreds of garlic crushers for the rest of your life, you could theoretically buy this product in bulk and then resell it on Amazon under your private label brand.

This is way harder than it sounds, of course. Amazon is ridiculously competitive.

Do your research to find out what kinds of products are likely to sell and produce a worthwhile return on investment for the risk.

6. Kindle Direct Publishing

If you’re an expert in a particular area or have a creative idea for an ebook, you can try Kindle Direct Publishing to earn money on Amazon.

Writing e-books is a flexible income-earning opportunity since you can literally write about pretty much any topic. You might choose fiction or nonfiction, and there are a ton of directions to go in from that point.

A friend of mine is really into historical trivia, so he’s published several books on Kindle. It’s a great side gig for him (he’s a lawyer and estate planner by trade).

Publishing your ebook on Kindle Direct Publishing is fairly quick and painless. Your book will also appear in Kindle stores within 24-48 hours.

Now, of course, you have to market your book successfully in order to make money from it. However, if you already have a blog with a decent number of followers, that’s a fantastic platform for advertising your book.

E-book writing isn’t easy by any means, but it’s definitely easier than going through a traditional publisher. Anyone can create passive income with this route since the more books you produce, the greater your potential income.

Do the research, writing, editing, and publishing your ebook once, and then you can reap the rewards forever!

7. Work For Amazon MTurk

Amazon Mechanical Turk, or MTurk, lets you make money on Amazon by doing simple tasks a human is better suited for than a machine.

MTurk is one of the most popular micro job websites around. Examples of the tasks it pays you to do include:

You won't earn thousands of dollars a month with Amazon MTurk. But if you put in some time while watching television or on your lunch breaks, you can definitely put a dent in your monthly bills.

If you want to try other sites like Amazon MTurk, you can also check out Appen and Clickworker for more options.

8. Amazon Warehouse Jobs

Another straightforward way to make money working with Amazon is to find a job at an Amazon warehouse.

Amazon Warehouse associate jobs pay a minimum wage of $15 per hour, so those who live near an Amazon warehouse or fulfillment center can jump on this opportunity. Plus, no resume or previous work experience is required.

Warehouse-jobs

The different Amazon business lines you could work for in a warehouse include:

  • Fulfillment center: The bulk of shipping work. Full-time, set schedules.
  • Sorting center: Requires sorting products between trucks and the warehouse. Part-time opportunities, 16-24+ hours per week.
  • Delivery station: The final frontier before packages are sent out for delivery. 15-25 hours per week, overnight or early morning.
  • Prime Now: The super fast, 2 hour or less delivery service. Flexible 3-4 hour shifts.
  • Prime Pantry: Snacks, beauty supplies, and household goods. Full-time scheduling.
  • AmazonFresh: Amazon's grocery delivery service. Mostly part-time up to 29 hours per week.

Warehouse work is typically very physically demanding, with long hours on your feet, so keep this requirement in mind.

But if you want to earn quick money and don't mind this type of work, warehouse jobs are an excellent way to make money with Amazon.

9. Sell Amazon Web Store Apps

There are plenty of ways to make money programming. But, while many programmers try their hand at making and monetizing apps on the Google Play store or IOS store, the Amazon mobile app marketplace is still an option.

You can develop and sell your own apps on Amazon. These apps will be available to customers in almost 200 countries, allowing you to make money from customers all over the world.

Developing apps on Amazon is also free. Learn more about the payment structure or how to get started!

10. Sell On Amazon Handmade

Amazon Handmade is perfect for you if you’ve got some crafty skills. Amazon Handmade is basically the Etsy of Amazon. Basically, this section of Amazon is completely dedicated to handmade, artisan-only items.

You have to apply to sell on Amazon Handmade, and there are several guidelines to prove your products are handmade. You can check out the terms for selling on Amazon Handmade to learn more.

Sell-On-Amazon-Handmade

Amazon Handmade is free to join unlike the Seller Program, which charges a $39.99 per month fee. Sellers pay 15% in fees for each sale made on Amazon Handmade, but that's it.

Ultimately, this is one of the best ways to make money on Amazon if you make artistic goods as a hobby or full-time job.

11. Use Amazon Merch

Amazon Merch may be a great way to make money on Amazon for anyone with graphic design skills.

On Amazon Merch, you simply upload your designs to the site, select the products you want them to be applied to, and set a listing price.

Amazon Merch then provides the marketplace to sell your designed products (such as T-shirts or mugs). Amazon handles the production, shipping, and customer service for you. It's basically Amazon's version of a print on demand service.

Amazon-merch-make-money

Using Amazon Merch enables you to get your designs in front of millions of potential customers, all of whom could order using Amazon Prime to get free 2-day shipping.

Like other POD businesses, this is tough business. You need to have great designs, the right pricing, a solid niche, and the ability to promote your stuff.

But, if you create eye-catching designs, Amazon Merch can turn into a nice source of autopilot income for you.

12. Use The Amazon Trade-In Program

Has it been awhile since you decluttered your old technology items? Don’t just have a garage sale or give the stuff away — make the most out of old tech products through Amazon's Trade-In program!

Amazon's Trade-In program is pretty simple. The program pays users with free Amazon gift cards in exchange for thousands of eligible items.

Amazon-Trade-In-Program

Some popular categories for the trade-in program include:

  • Amazon devices like Kindle readers
  • Books
  • Headphones
  • Gaming consoles like Xboxes and Playstations 5s
  • Smart home appliances
  • Streaming media players
  • Tablets
  • Video games

Amazon' provides an immediate offer and free shipping. You don't even pay shipping if Amazon returns your item.

This program is probably the easiest way to make money on Amazon. Plus, it's never a bad idea to do a bit of Spring cleaning.

13. Get A Remote Amazon Job

One of the easiest ways to make money from Amazon is to simply work for the company by landing an online job.

Since Amazon is such a massive company, it's almost-always hiring people for different roles. If you want a work from home job or want to travel the world while making money on your laptop, this is excellent news.

Amazon-virtual-location-jobs

Amazon virtual job listings are mostly for full-time employment, although some part-time positions are available.

However, this platform is great for anyone working in HR, software/development, or customer support. Some jobs may require you to live near a specific geographic location but still allow you to work from home.

Once you’ve gotten through the interview process, you could start earning money working from home for Amazon!

14. Join Amazon Vine

While this isn't a direct way to make money on Amazon, becoming an Amazon Vine reviewer is still an excellent way to get free products from different Amazon sellers.

Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program that invites the best Amazon reviewers to test out products and leave feedback. In exchange for your reviews, you get to keep the products Amazon sends you.

Amazon Vine

Vine members get all sorts of merchandise, including homegoods, electronics, food, and apparel. Overall, it's the most legit way to make money writing Amazon reviews.

The downside is that the program is invitation-only. If you want to get paid to write reviews, start leaving them on Amazon regularly to increase the odds you get invited.

15. Join the Amazon Influencer Program

Influencer marketing has been all the rage the past few years, and it seems Amazon is finally getting on the bandwagon.

If you have a qualifying YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram account, you’re eligible to join the Amazon Influencer program to earn money.

Amazon-influencer-program

With Amazon Influencer, you choose your preferred social media platform and then create your own page with a vanity URL. That’s where you’ll share the products on Amazon that you love and recommend.

This is different than making money with an Amazon affiliate website. The Influencer program lets you create your own storefront that is solely Amazon-related, and you can use different social channels to promote it.

Amazon will look at your number of social media followers on the platform you select, as well as other indicators of your social media presence.

Once you’re approved, you have another place to showcase products to your followers and to earn commission from any sales.

16. Offer Amazon Optimization Services

Utilizing your SEO optimization skills to assist Amazon sellers is another way to make money with Amazon.

Anybody who wants to make money on Amazon needs to be able to get eyes on their merchant pages. Becoming an expert in Amazon-specific SEO is a great way to make money by offering that service to other online entrepreneurs.

A quick search on Upwork and Fiverr for ‘Amazon SEO services' brings up hundreds of services from sellers offering to optimize seller profiles, translate pages, or write killer product descriptions:

Fiverr-Amazon-services

As you can see, some of these Fiverr sellers are near or have surpassed the 1,000 order mark, totalling thousands of dollars in revenue.

Product listings are only going to become more competitive, so learning how to optimize seller profiles is certainly a lucrative digital side hustle you can try.

17. Offer Amazon Services

Do you have experience as a handyman? Can you clean an entire house in two hours flat? Well, selling these types of services on Amazon provides a platform for pros in housecleaning, handy tasks, and assemblers to find work in their area.

Selling-Services

Amazon Services is a flexible way to add jobs to your workload, whether you have a ton of free time or just a couple of slots open during a typical week.

The program lets professional contractors find local cash gigs by offering their services through the Amazon App.

Contractors can also view job offers in their area that are curated by Amazon and choose gigs that fit their schedule or expertise.

Electricians, HVAC specialists, plumbers, and general contractors will need to show proof of certification or licensing in order to operate through Amazon Services. However, the signup process is pretty straightforward.

There is no signup fee, no subscription fee, and no lead generation fee for contractors. Amazon takes 15% to 20% based on the type of service offered and the total dollar value.

18. Work As A Prime Now Shopper

Thanks to Amazon's grocery delivery service, it's possible to make money with Amazon by shopping for groceries at Whole Foods.

Amazon Fresh is Amazon's venture into the grocery delivery market. Since Whole Foods is the grocery store that partners with this service, Prime Now Shoppers are responsible for purchasing items from Whole Foods that are then delivered to the doors of hungry homeowners.

Shop-At-Amazon

Some of the main benefits of this job include:

  • At least $15 per hour
  • 4-5 hour shifts for around 20 hours per week
  • Complete flexibility, with just a 4 hour per month minimum work requirement
  • 30 minute application process

This job is similar to delivery apps like Instacart and Shipt. But Amazon actually hires you, so you get a guaranteed hourly rate and a bit more stability.

Final Thoughts

If you have ever wondered how to make money on Amazon, I hope this list of options helps highlight just how much opportunity is out there.

If you’ve got solid stretches of time to work on-site in a warehouse or as a driver, go for it. If you need ultra-flexibility, consider one or more of the online earning opportunities that are available.

It's clear that Amazon is expanding their business into dozens of other industries. It's incredibly easy to earn money with Amazon thanks to this rapid expansion, and I don't see this ecommerce giant slowing down anytime soon.
